Can one go to heaven if they have a demon in them upon Jesus' return?

Jesus cast out many demons, we know this, now, if those demons had not been casted out, would all of those people had been dammed?

Take legion for example, the man in the caverns. Let's say he heard Jesus's message from afar, and said I want to be saved, I believe. But the demons were never casted out, would he still had gone to heaven while still having demons when Jesus returned (assuming he was alive for the 2nd coming)?

For some, if you get saved, the Holy Spirit resides in you, and this relates to the story about one's house cannot be taken over unless the strongman is first bound. So some will say, that you can't both have the Holy Spirit and demons.

So back to the original question, can one have a demon in them and go to heaven? And if not, does this mean that everyone who hears the message of Jesus repents and believes is immediately freed from demon possession? And if they are not immediately freed, meaning they still have that demon, If the next day they get hit by a bus, die of old age, cancer, will they go to heaven having a demon reside in their soul at the time of death?

FYI---- I'm not speaking of this in the context of the demon going with them (entering)into heaven, I'm speaking of this in the sense of looking at their final state prior to leaving this world, and asking if that state is acceptable to God.

When you reply please answer as such.

#1--Does believing in Jesus and repentance free you from demon possession immediately? YES OR NO?

#2--If one has a demon residing in them ( lust demon, lying demon, mute demon) and they have profess Christ as Lord and Savior and repented in their minds about sin, can they still go to heaven while that demon resides in them?

It should but if not, then one has to wonder about the repentance part. If a believer believes later on or a sinner at salvation that they can receive the Holy Spirit by a sign, then they may very well have invited the spirit of the antichrist into them even though the Holy Spirit is in them as promised for all those who believe in Jesus Christ. Why possessed by the spirit of the antichrist? By suffering a thief to break through in believing the Holy Spirit is to be received by a sign rather than by faith in Jesus Christ and so in that mentality of a medium and rudiment of the world, that believer will continue to experience visitations of the spirit of the antichrist when they lose self control and babble in confusion or do things involuntarily like falling down or laughing and cannot stop laughing for no reason at all. Some will believe the filling of the Spirit is a continuous thing per their misapplication of Ephesians 5:18 when it was really about staying sober.

Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

There can be no receiving of the Holy Spirit again for that would go against scripture about how we are all to speak the same thing of having one drink of the One Spirit at our salvation moment.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Plus, the extra phenomenon is contrary to this promise from Jesus that we would be filled at our salvation to never hunger nor thirst to be filled again.

John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Once again, we are always Spirit-filled as a testimony from God that we are saved since having believed in Jesus Christ at the calling of the gospel.

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel,
to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

So believers need His help at that throne of grace to turn them away from the spirits of the antichrist by shunning tongues for private use and pray normally as well as stop chasing after the spirits of the antichrist to receive after a sign thus returning to their first love and final resting place in Jesus Christ as always Spirit-filled since salvation after having believed in him to be saved at the calling of the gospel.

If they are still in iniquity of using tongues for private use and or still chasing after the "Holy Spirit" to receive after a sign thus denying that the Holy Spirit has been in them since salvation at the calling of the gospel, yes, the spirit of the antichrist can still resides in them until they repent because as they deny Him as being in them, even if in hypocrisy as they seek to receive Him again, thus denying Him a sin them, Jesus will deny them at the pre great tribulation rapture.

They risk being left behind for being in that iniquity still in defiling the temple of God for why they will die but their spirits will be with the Lord in Heaven awaiting for their resurrection after the great tribulation as vessels unto dishonor,

Being born again of the Holy Spirit does free you from sin and the Wicked one. ( including evil spirits)

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

There is no darkness in the Light.

Amen, good verse. Thanks.
I would add, if Satan and all the evil angels ( evil spirits) were already cast out of heaven, then why would God allow any to enter back into heaven?

Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

But if a believer believes the lie that they can receive the Holy Spirit "again" apart from salvation after a sign, God will permit that strong delusion to occur. That is what they get for going after the rudiment of the world like mediums do in receiving spirits again and again and again, rather than after Christ. So even the filling of the Spirit notion as if Ephesians 5:18 is not just a call to remain sober when it actually just is, when Ephesians 5:18 is misapplied as thinking one can continuously fill themselves up with the Holy Spirit after salvation supernaturally, God will permit that strong delusion to occur for believing that lie.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,..........

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. <---- new age rudiment of seeking to receive spirits in spite of the faith the Holy Spirit is in us... so the restraining ceases.

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

To be left behind to die but their spirits will be with the Lord in Heaven awaiting for heir resurrection after the great tribulation is where the vessels unto dishonor comes from that are in His House, vessels of wood & earth.

The reproof as the reminder of when we had actually received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth was at the calling of the gospel when we had first believed and no other time.

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Thus the warnings below in regards to keeping the faith which is the good fight.

2 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

2 Corinthians 11:1Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

It is hypocrisy to seek to receive the Holy Spirit again and yet say also that He is in them since salvation.

Colossians 2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

So there is no more filling of the Holy Spirit but there is sowing to the fruits of the Spirit which is by faith in Jesus Christ rather than by seeking a phenomenon.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:...
....11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

The defense for the faith rests in Jesus Christ. May God cause the increase.

It should be noted that if a Christian sought to become a medium, God will permit that spiritual adultery and thus an abomination to happen also.

I would add, if Satan and all the evil angels ( evil spirits) were already cast out of heaven, then why would God allow any to enter back into heaven?

Revelation 12:9

It stands to reason that if any defile the temple of God which is our bodies, him, God will destroy but their spirits will be with the Lord minus the spirits of the antichrist.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
