Deuteronomy 8:2) And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Now none of us are justified under the law, nor are we required to keep it for it was nailed to the cross with Christ because under the law all men are condemned and none are justified, but does this excuse us from obeying the Lord our God, I think not. Can a child of God be in ranks of disobedience, immorality, and all sorts of evil? (2 Timothy 2:19) “Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (2 Timothy 2:19) “the foundation of God standeth sure” and (2 Timothy 2:19) “The Lord knoweth them that are his” and as his sheep, the sheep of his pasture, can we stand on a foundation of iniquity and stand with the Lord? I think not seeing that the workers of iniquity shall perish. (1 Corinthians 10:21) ”Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.” Listen, in a world of darkness, filled with lust, works of the flesh, and a ses pool of evil, can we walk in it being conformed to its ways and still be cleansed by the Lord’s blood, I think not! (Psalm 36:9) “for with thee is the fountain of life, in thy light shall we see light” and (1 John 1:6-7) “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Now can the inverse say something to us, that if we walk in darkness or do not walk in the light, then his blood will not cleanse us from all sin, yes so (Psalm 7:9) “the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins” of every man, women, and child(accountable aged child). If one submits to darkness, can one be cleansed of that which they choose not to let go, I think not. This world is one big test that we have to endure if we want eternal life, and make no mistake about it, darkness and the sinful way will keep one back, while we are not perfect, why as children of God should we submit to the ways of this wilderness, lest we get killed spiritually speaking and become departed from God.

We have to walk in our faith and not just have faith because faith alone is dead and is our faith based on a foundation of disobedience, I think not. We are manifested to a holy calling of living and this world will do all it can to tear us from that concept and that mentality of righteous character that God wants of us. Can we give in to temptation and still get the crown of life? Can we live sinful and wickedly and still please God, I think not. So we must stride prayerfully and with all humility of mind to live pleasing unto God because this life is short but the eternal life promised through Christ Jesus to those that obey and do his will is eternal. Can one choose life and death? (Jeremiah 21:8) “Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.” Manifestly seen are two choices, (Deuteronomy 30:15-16) “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.” Notice that Israel’s prosperity was determined by obedience, the works of their hands, their actions and how they followed God. Notice that every King that did not have obedience to God failed and did not prosper, that those that chose evil from the days of Cain and up did not prosper, from Noah’s day with the flood, to Sodom and Gomorrah all the way up to the destruction of Jerusalem and Judah (in book of Jeremiah), and do we think that we can prosper under the new covenant of Christ Jesus without obedience and abstaining from idols derived from worldly pleasures and lust, I think not. We are under allegiance to a strict God who does care for us and wants obedience, no, commands obedience of us, it is not optional, not if we want to escape the world, its pollutions, and its venom which will come to nought and be destroyed.

Hi , one question about what you said...

But there is return , this is what i believe. Like sample of prodicial son. I suppose you did not mean at any point that we couldn't immidiately return home?

God bless

1John 2:1&2
1*My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if you do sin, there is someone to plead for you before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who pleases God completely.* 2*He is the sacrifice for our sins. He takes away not only our sins but the sins of all the world.

Hebrews 9:24-28
24*For Christ has entered into heaven itself to appear now before God as our Advocate.* He did not go into the earthly place of worship, for that was merely a copy of the real Temple in heaven. 25*Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, like the earthly high priest who enters the Most Holy Place year after year to offer the blood of an animal. 26*If that had been necessary, he would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But no! He came once for all time, at the end of the age, to remove the power of sin forever by his sacrificial death for us.
27*And just as it is destined that each person dies only once and after that comes judgment, 28*so also Christ died only once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again but not to deal with our sins again. This time he will bring salvation to all those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Colossians 1:15-23
15*Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation.* 16*Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him. 17*He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.
18*Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead,* so he is first in everything. 19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20*and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. 21*This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions, 22 yet now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 23*But you must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed by God to proclaim it.

Matthew 7:21 (New International Version)

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 14:21-24

12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you.
18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"

23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

Great scripture quotes Jonah, sad that many are confused about Father's will.

Would you be kind enough to elaborate on what the Father’s will is so it will no longer be sad, to you, for those who need help understanding? There are many many laws in Deuteronomy, Leviticus, that seem to be either “still in effect” or no longer required because of the cross. Do we simply love others? Or is there a certain type of good that we should strive for? We get confused because we want to please God so badly, but we aren’t sure if it’s possible to be “good enough” To show good enough action so that our faith is proven to God. Know what I mean? If you have a certain bit of knowledge that we are somehow not picking up or grasping, try to patiently walk us through it so we can be where you are. We desperately want to know but don’t logically grasp what it is we need to be doing.

TO do good in all things
TO give thanks in all things
and to stay away from sexual immorality

do a bible study on Gods will if you dont know, dont take mans word for it dig into the word

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;

Ephesians 5:20
Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

@Copper25

In regards to your topic question that could be a yes or no answer.

But i will only focus on this aspect.

If you abide in Christ then he is your Passover lamb or atonement for your iniquities; Which is pleasing to God.

Hosea 6:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
