Cell Phone vs. Bible

This was sent to me by E-mail from my brother Guy. It's cute, so I wanted to share it with all of you.

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell
phones?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
This is something to make you go ...hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry
about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

Pass this on to everyone you know that has a cell phone. Makes you stop &
think "where are my priorities?"

And no dropped calls !

I think if we knew what it is like in China or North Korea where you are killed for having a bible, we might appreciate the fact that we can have as many as we want.

I agree - Cute! But you know? Some people really do all those things with their Bible. I think it all depends on the strength of our passion in GOD & HIS Word - Christ Jesus.

It makes me feel good inside. Knowing how imperfect I am & yet to know that I can at least do that much with hope that with encouragement of it all -

that I just might find my way to change always for the better. In hope to become Holy as HE is Holy - with the help from my (our) Almighty GOD & Christ Jesus, through their love for me & my love for them. Your Sister in Christ {1Peter 1:15}, *genesis.

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? - I would but my hubby wont. But usually he'll let me go back for it

What if we flipped through it several times a day? - I use too. Now I do every other day.

What if we used it to receive messages from the text? - I get messages from GOD through the Bible.

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? - I know for a fact - I don't want to live with out GOD {or Jesus Christ}

What if we gave it to kids as gifts? - Some people do.

What if we used it as we traveled? Like I said, I keep one in my van to be with me where ever we go.

What if we used it in case of an emergency? That's one reason why it's in my van. But Prayer is my most emergency weapon.
