Will the country tolerate Charles as king with Camilla at his side?
I remember the cruel way these two treated that beautiful girl, Diana. She loved him and it all ended up so tragically. So how will this work? Adultery, especially of two married people, is ugly and has consequences, even decades later. Just like all sin.
Has Charles got the moral fibre to follow his amazing mother to throne? She put duty first. She was loved but Charles is not, because selfish people generally are not loved nor respected. The Queen was a devoted Christian. I am not sure of Charles and Camilla's depth of faith.

It would I think be far better to let William and his lovely wife take the throne. Otherwise the monarchy itself might be in danger.

What do you think?

When it comes to moral decay and the lapse of personal morality it is not just Charles and Camilla that are guilty of such.
The whole of the U.K. is also guilty.
The monarchy is not in danger but will be embraced by the populous who have a short memory about many issues.
Charles is already king and is now Charles III - there are only some formal proclamations to made by the relevant authorities.
He is king by inheritance and William must wait his turn (if the world lasts that long).

There is a documentary called "Killing Diana" released recently.
I just started it today and can't say much on that by itself.
I know the idea of her being "killed" is controversy and any evidence and person pursuing anything other than it being an "accident" is a "conspiracy theorist.
Look at Charles' hands. They are swollen and is one sign of diabetes and/or heart problem of some kind.
There's also a picture of him being poked in the chest by a Rothschild. When you can control someone, you can do whatever you want to them especially in public.
Given he's over 70 his reign won' be that long given that and some health problems.
Pretty sure 99% of Americans don't care about the Royal Family or Britain.

I think most British are stoic by nature.
However, though Diana was beloved by many, it's still been 25 years since her death, and of course though she did not remarry there were tryst that were reported to have existed. Humanity has a short memory, and Nations as a whole are comprised by this very same people. Oh, they love their history, but unless things go bad i.e., that some nations start to leave what is commonly known as the Commonwealth. It shouldn't be a problem except for Harry & Meghan, who have lose lips, which we all know sinks ships. That being said. If countries do start to leave the Commonweath then you will have turmoil in the Royal Family as well as the country.

Charles III maybe king now, but Jesus is King of kings!!!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

  1. I'm sure they are. A former friend (long story) her mother is British but has been in America since her teens and is a grandmother. Still has the accent. I've never heard of her mention the RF or anything there.
  2. She was an admirable person I admit and as I also work in Helping the needy, I can appreciate and see her side of things.
  3. I've never been a fan of the U.N.
  4. Markle is a horrible women. Harry finally got back with the rest of the family but she didn't and there's some excuse she stayed behind for some "charity". Pretty sure a high majority of true British patriots could put off such a thing.
  5. More countries and leaders are seeing that a Republic IS best for any country
  6. There are some instances where an American has the flag and doesn't lower it for foreign royalty. When asked there's some form of "This flag lowers for no earthly King/Queen." Mic drop and "Deal with it." sunglasses.
  7. I agree. The only King I'm concerned about is Jesus.
  8. On some level, one can feel empathy for the Family and prayers and all. We must all remember, that Jesus came to seek and save the lost; even people who we at a fault tend to "cast personal judgment" on.

Charles III to be proclaimed Australia’s king in official ceremony in Canberra today Sunday 10th September 2022

The Governor-General will officially proclaim King Charles III as Australia’s new head of state following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, will meet with ministers, acting as the Executive Council, on Sunday morning to formally recommend Sir David Hurley to issue the proclamation.
They will then travel to Parliament House for a formal ceremony, followed by a 21 gun salute, to officially acknowledge King Charles III as Australia’s new sovereign.
This follows the UK’s proclamation at St James Palace on Saturday evening, Australian time.
Flags across the nation, which have been lowered in mourning for the Queen, will fly full-mast after the proceedings. They will be lowered to half-mast again after dusk.
Sunday's ceremony will be the first time a proclamation has been read at Australia’s new Parliament House, as the Australian proclamation of Queen Elizabeth II took place at Canberra’s Old Parliament House.
Proceedings will include a band performing the Australian anthem and also God Save the King.

Jacob Blesses Ephraim and Manasseh

Gen 48:1 After this, Joseph was told, “Behold, your father is ill.” So he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.
Gen 48:2 And it was told to Jacob, “Your son Joseph has come to you.” Then Israel summoned his strength and sat up in bed.
Gen 48:3 And Jacob said to Joseph, “God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,
Gen 48:4 and said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.’
Gen 48:5 And now your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh shall be mine, as Reuben and Simeon are.
Gen 48:6 And the children that you fathered after them shall be yours. They shall be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance.
Gen 48:7 As for me, when I came from Paddan, to my sorrow Rachel died in the land of Canaan on the way, when there was still some distance to go to Ephrath, and I buried her there on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).”
Gen 48:8 When Israel saw Joseph's sons, he said, “Who are these?”
Gen 48:9 Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said, “Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.”
Gen 48:10 Now the eyes of Israel were dim with age, so that he could not see. So Joseph brought them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them.
Gen 48:11 And Israel said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face; and behold, God has let me see your offspring also.”
Gen 48:12 Then Joseph removed them from his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.
Gen 48:13 And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near him.
Gen 48:14 And Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on the head of Ephraim, who was the younger, and his left hand on the head of Manasseh, crossing his hands (for Manasseh was the firstborn).
Gen 48:15 And he blessed Joseph and said, “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,
Gen 48:16 the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the boys; and in them let my name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
Gen 48:17 When Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him, and he took his father's hand to move it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head.
Gen 48:18 And Joseph said to his father, “Not this way, my father; since this one is the firstborn, put your right hand on his head.”
Gen 48:19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He [Manasseh] also shall become a people, and he also shall be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother [Ephraim] shall be greater than he, and his offspring shall become a multitude of nations.” [the British Empire and Commonwealth]
Gen 48:20 So he blessed them that day, saying, “By you Israel will pronounce blessings, saying, ‘God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh.’” Thus he put Ephraim before Manasseh.
Gen 48:21 Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you again to the land of your fathers.
Gen 48:22 Moreover, I have given to you rather than to your brothers one mountain slope that I took from the hand of the Amorites with my sword and with my bow.”

his younger brother >> the United Kingdom [the Union of Jacob] of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland with the Union jack flag was proclaimed in 1801
the U.S.A. came into political existence in 1776
hence truly the younger brother Ephraim has fulfilled this prophecy.

Hello @Christina2000,

There are two sides to every story, and only God knows the hearts of both, so only He can make a righteous judgment. Wrong was done, but it has not gone unpunished, the now present King and his family have suffered the consequences, in the full glare of the public eye.

Prince William is young and has a young wife and family: and the burden of responsibility is already on his shoulders in many ways, as he takes on the roles his Father has passed on to him. He has a lot to learn and this will prepare him for His future role as king (God willing). So it is a kindness if he has a few years yet to prepare.

We can only pray that God's will, will be done both in and through the new King, for God's name and glory's sake.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

A reasonable reply that I agree with.Let us be optimistic and hope for stability for Britain, that is the most important thing.

Oooops - that ought to be Sunday 11th September

please provide source for this 'article'
this is not from just an article but copy and paste from several online Australian newspapers such as 'The Weekend Australian'
a few snippets from various newspaper stories to give the gist of the process of declaring Charles Windsor as the legal heir to the deceased Queen Elizabeth II.

IMO, William is the better choice. Monarchy's tend to prefer longer reigns when he/she does well.
Charles...he looks sick. Look at his hands. They are swollen and could be a sign of diabetes or some heart problems.
I don't care what goes on over there but whatever God has planned He knows best.

Hi there, @MedicBravo,

Looked at in terms of health and wellbeing, yes, you are probably right, but yet in terms of experience the present King cannot be bettered. He has also had very good reason to appreciate his own frailty, having fallen mightily in the public eye: that must have humbled him, and that is not such a bad thing. He will also therefore be more inclined to be gracious to others as a consequence.

As you say, God knows! May His will be done.
Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
our Lord and Head.

There's a lot more going on with any government or leadership whatever you want to call it.
If he truly wanted to be King he would have been taking care of his health years ago.
Was the Queen vaccinated? If she was....
William may not have the experience but leadership of all kinds tend to have advisors.

Peoples here are missing the forest in looking at the trees ...
The particular individuals that have ascended the thrones of Ireland, Scotland and England have certainly been representative of human nature - the best and the worst
but over time the Stone of Destiny and the anointing of monarchs as Christian kings and queens has culminated in the union of Jacob - Britain > the United Kingdom.
Here are the promises made to David that his seed would sit upon thrones until his Lord descendant would come to sit upon his throne.
For Britain is Joseph through Ephraim and Manasseh. The younger to be the multitude of nations and the other to be a great nation.
The "lost" tribes of Israel are within Europe and exist today which is why the gospel was delivered to Europe and Europe did indeed become Christendom.

Psalm 89:3 You have said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have sworn to David my servant: 4 ‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build your throne for all generations.’”
89:29 I will establish his offspring forever and his throne as the days of the heavens.
89:36 His offspring shall endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before me.

Psalm 132:11 The LORD swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: “One of the sons of your body I will set on your throne.
132:12 If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.”

Jeremiah 43:4 So Johanan the son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces and all the people did not obey the voice of the LORD, to remain in the land of Judah.
:5 But Johanan the son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces took all the remnant of Judah who had returned to live in the land of Judah from all the nations to which they had been driven—
6 the men, the women, the children, the princesses, and every person whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan; also Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch the son of Neriah.
7 And they came into the land of Egypt, for they did not obey the voice of the LORD. And they arrived at Tahpanhes.
