Take a bag of defrosted hash brown potatoes

1.) can of cream of mushroom soup
2.) bag of shredded cheese (I like the colby/ jack cheese)
3.) 8oz of sour cream
4. )3 tablespoons of french onion chip dip

3 cups of cheese crackers ( I like goldfish ) crushed
enough of melted margerine to coat

mix all together in a large bowl (keep the cheese crackers and margerine to the side)

spread the mixture in a large cassorole dish, put the cheese cracker margerine on top cover with aluminum foil bake at 350 for about 45 mins ..

ummmm yummm

Jesuslovesyou,

That sounds realy good, I am going to try it myself, and give the recipe to my daughter in-law. She eats alot of cheese since she is expecting , she craves chesse. Just the right recipe for her.:thumbs_up Thanks for posting it

I love cheesy potatoes. Too bad they're high in carbs, I'd eat them like pocket snacks.

Thanks for sharing this recipe

I allready lost 70 pounds . 100 more and I'll give them a try . :embarasse Mike

Wow! A recipe I believe my kids would enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

I went to the store and got all I need for your recipe. My grandson is haveing a birthday this weekend and we are eating lunch before the party. So I will let you know how everyone liked it, if my daughter in law dosen't hide it and eat it later. LOL

Jesuslovesu,
Well we had the birthday party and as I thought your recipie for the chessey potatoes where a hit. I gave my daughter in-law the recipe.

That recipe is always a hit at any party Bobbie...I`ve been making it for years...but I use mozza cheese...(with some cheddar tossed in for tang)
and use crushed corn flakes (mixed with a TBSP of melted butter) on top instead of crackers. Instead of the french onion chip dip, I dice a bit of green onion for color ...and bake uncovered for a little crispiness on top ...YUM!

Note * ALL fancy crackers are VERY high in bad fats...(I was wolfing down a box one day when a little imp (one of my health crazed kids) saw fit to notify me of that fact lol...and margarine is one chemical away from being plastic...

Hey I have been known to eat plastic too lol! Why does all the bad stuff taste so goooooood lol!

My health nutty son tells me if you eat enough good the bad will taste bad...I obviously have`nt reached that stage yet lol

Yeah I have heard that too Coconut I think they just tell us that to make themselves feel better ! lol My brother is a big health nut.

You could be unto something there Bobbie...sorta like the story of the fox and the grapes, and how he couldnt have the grapes so he said he didnt want them anyways LOL ;)

these sound wonderful and like many of the recipes that I've printed today, this sounds like one that my uncle will just adore as he loves "cheese and potatos"! He will be thrilled when I make this for him...thanks so much for sharing!
