Children of The Living God

In Romans 8:16-18 It says

16. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.

17. and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Chirst, if indeed we suffer with Him
so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with
the glory that is to be revealed to us. New American Standard Bible

I know that I am a child of God but sometimes you don't think about it.
Then one day, reading the Bible,it jumps out at you.

I am a child of the living God !
Felllow heirs with Christ !
How wonderful, Jesus not only died and rose again for us, that was awsome.
Now He makes us children of God and joint heirs with Jesus.
I can't even fathom the love God has for us.
He gave His all for us and then said we are His children.

We will have trials but we can give our burdens to Him.
If we stay in His word, we can stand on it.
The battle is the Lords.
We are children of the living God!

My church home group last Thursday talked a lot about suffering for Jesus mainly through evangelism. I know we will suffer in many other areas as well.
May our love for God, revelations of His love, etc far out weigh anything we might go through.

Yes, you and I are actually a child of God! This is amazing. This revelation is enough alone to get excited about! He is our Father, the Father of lights! Our Daddy is a King. We really are princes and princes. We are sons and daughters of royalty. The greatest king that every existed.

This concept, the Father's love for us, is one of the most crucial things for us to understand. He is for us!
