Christ Died For Us
1Pe 1:3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! God has given us a new birth because of his great mercy. We have been born into a new life that has a confidence which is alive because Jesus Christ has come back to life. 1Co 15:3-4 The most important part of the message is: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say. (4) He was buried, and three days later he was raised to life, as the Scriptures say. Act 2:38 Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 1Jo 4:13-15 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. (14) And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. (15) Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. Rom 5:5 God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to us. 1Jo 4:9-10 God showed his love for us by sending his only Son into the world, so that we might have life through him. (10)
This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven. Eph 2:8 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it. Rom 5:8 God has shown us how much he loves us---it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. Act 17:30-31 God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, (31) because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness Act 3:19 So turn to God! Give up your sins, and you will be forgiven. Rom 3:23-24 All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. (24) But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 5:7-8 Look at it this way: At the right time, while we were still helpless, Christ died (8) Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God's love for us. Joh 9:35 Do you believe in the Son? Joh 11:26 everyone who lives and believes will never die. Do you believe this?" Mar 1:15 "The right time has come," and the Kingdom of God is near! Turn away from your sins and believe the Good News!" Mar 5:36 "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe." Rom 10:9 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.
