Christian Actors

I happen to be an actor. I've been in a few movies and tv shows. Being based in Ireland, i'm not world famous or anything, but i'm happy! I became a Christian two years ago next week, although, I have been involved in Christianity since birth. Just wondering if there are anymore Christian actors out there. Or if anyone knows any?

Well, i could call myself an Actress, but i've never been involved in anything more than a couple of christmas plays here and there.

I have a passion for dance, acting and theatre and I've always been told that I have a "thing" for acting...so I'm a tally on your count. Do you prefer stage or film acting?

Im a college student in California and am also very much interested in acting, as well as producing movies and working behind the scenes in making productions. I havent had much experience besides helping with short films and acting in one feature length that was later cancelled But as to acting, just wanted to say that there are many Christian actors out there that sometimes have to compromise their faith in order to make a living out of the profession. However, there are Christian production companies across the world (you have to look hard for them) that im sure look for Christian actors, maybe just for extras in Christian films they produce. I had and still have intentions on going into Christian film and media, hopefully not to compromise my beliefs but to change the way the media, especially in the US, is headed towards immorality and disintegration. I applaud you wanting to get into Christian film and hope you can find a way to make a difference in it. God bless you.

My reply is not exactly to the point, but, as an actor, you may find it very worth while ....

There is an excellent and enlightening book entitled WHAT HOLLYWOOD BELIEVES available through [edited by Yeshua no LINKS are to be posted without Chad's permission].

Ray Comfort (not sure Kirk Cameron helped interview on this one) interviewed many of our best known Hollywood celebrities. You will find it amazing what some of them actually believe, and you will see who (of those interviewed) trusts Messiah.

There are also excellent evangelical materials availavle at this website. In my opinion every born again Christian should hear or read HELLS BEST KEPT SECRET.

Yea some of these hollywood folks are Christians. Odd cases too as they are mostly in secular zones (work wise) but claim their faith in Christ. Amen to that

Cool to see that this thread is still actually here. It's been such a long time since i've been on this forum. I'm still acting and i'm still a christian, although a lot has changed in my life. I've gone through some pretty tough times.

I know there are a lot of christian actors out there. I'm happy to say that i've worked with a few. We spread the word in our own strange little ministry, but we enjoy what we do.

Hey. I am also an actor working on my first film. I am so blessed that I get to do this kind of thing. The entertainment industry is a mission field in itself and I am truly blessed to be able to minister in it. PLease pray for me while I am working on my movie. It is supposed to start filming in September of 2006 and I am supposed to star opposite Danielle Panabaker and Michael Angarano. PLease pray that everything goes according to plan and that I will be able to reach my co stars and other working on the project with me. THANK YOU

Cool, I'm not sure I know of any Christian actors though. I will pray for you, God will take care of you and make sure everything will go well. I'm not too familiar with actors names.

I just recentley caught the Christian movie "Six The Mark Unleashed".And i was suprised to see Stephen Baldwin,I had no idea he had became a christian actor.But i wa happy to see.Praise The Lord :shade:

Okay, just did a google search about the movie and you are absolutely right, he is a Christian Actor, Praise the Lord. It say's that he is a Christian and deeply committed on reaching youth.

hello all christian actors or acting enthusiasts!

i am very interseted in secular media, in general, as i feel their is great power and influence in this field for winning souls.

i encourage and applaud anyone who is working in this field and is a soldier of Christ, as it is very hard and i would suppose, much like swimming up-stream all the time, against the tide of "popular oppinion'.


i would love to know how all of you are getting on and what things you are working on, so that a: i can pray and b: i can support you, as i would love to see my brothers and sisters in action!

Please keep us all up-dated, if you can, as im sure im not the only one interested in your work.
