Trading Spouses - Christian bashing seems to have found a new poster-child in Marguerite Perrin.
There is no knowing just how real this "reality" program was. No doubt FOX wants ratings through sensationalism, can't fault them for that, but 'THE PERRIN FAMILY' episode was the most disturbing show I ever watched from a christian viewpoint.

As a Christian why would you want to trade, spouse, house etc with someone you don't know, because you don't know what you are walking into? Wow - feel the anger coming through? Just my thoughts.

Im starting to wonder with all the anti-christian shows lately, if Satan isn't trying to spread christian hate by T.V propaganda. Even if this was'nt staged Satan is very capable of trying to make saints look, or appear, evil.. to the unsaved. After Paul suffered shipwreck, he was warming himself by a fire and a viper came out of it, and bit him. The people who seen this and knew he had already suffered shipwreck... thought he was an evil man. But who sent that snake to bite Paul...not God thats for sure. God gave Paul the power to take up serpents! So saints be carefull, if we are living in the last days, Satan will use all he can to decieve Gods people, including Television. Its nothing for him and his demon's, to stand behind a producers back and say 123 Action, and he may even control the actors. This will likely get worse as time goes by, as for Marguerite Perrin's actions on camera, Paul would have said, will not the unbeliever say you are mad.

That was my thought too. In the last days we will be mocked (as the apostles were) but it's really not us their mocking it's the Christ that shines through us.

Hi all. For several weeks now I have noticed that I have been turning away from tv programmes more and more. The things that I use to find entertaining like wife swap, talk shows, soap operas etc. just make me more agitated, anxious , angry or it titilates sinful desires. These sinful emotions are ones I am trying to break free from. Alot of tv programmes just don't help my growth in Christ.

Last night I watched a great movie called "The Perfect Stranger" on TBN. After the movie there was an interview with the producer or director, anyhow he mentioned that they receive many letters asking why doesn't this film company take their material to Hollywood. Words to that effect.

He said that God told him 'you can't bear good fruit from a bad tree'

Sorry Coco . Throne Ministries is the worst Christian Bashing bunch I have seen in awhile . Total antichrist nutcases in all they say and do . I better watch out now . Marguerite Perrin calls herself a "God warrior" The question begs to be asked who is she warring with? http://www.margueriteperrin.com/
Unless you`ve watched the video mentioned above, you won`t see how disturbing her pride in this sinful atroscity being committed in the name of 'Christ" is, and why I am speaking out against the damning effects it is having on those who do not know Christ (Yes she is just one of many of her kind, and not one I will call a Christian, Paul was unquestionably zealous, but was`nt named a Christian until Christ himself showed him he was playing a leading role in Christians being persecuted and he was converted)

It struck me as being ironic that a person who acted so 'hateful' in front of millions of viewers would be raging about the "dark side."
If hate doesn't personify the "dark side," then what does? As much as she ranted and screamed and cried about darkness, (while terrifying and blaming her own family because they didnt 'pray' enough for her) her actions show how little real light or inner peace her 'religion' has given her.

To quote another poster:

Shame on those producers who corrupt and manipulate people's vulnerable minds from their powerful media position. Someday they are going to be accountable in front of a tribunal which they know mock and make fun." Amen.

Trust me when I say I do not find this entertaining in the least, but when those claiming to be 'christian', are getting world wide (or web-wide) publicity for what they are doing, I for one am at least going to ask what it is they stand for in the light of Gods Word. I`m not aware of any point in history where it benifited the true soldiers of God to bury thier heads in the sand.
As long as we live in this world, it is crucial for those claiming to be 'christian' to know what the true definition of ''christian' is, and to know what defines the enemy as well, by the BOOK.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Me personally, I think just about everything on tv nowadays is pitiful and antichrist one way or another. Only a very select few programs broadcast are acceptable at least from where I am in the US. Some shows I can live with for they preach the Word of GOD

Jimmy Swaggert's TV Sermons
Billy Graham's TV Sermons (when they are scheduled)

These type of things I can live with. This does not meant the network broadcasting them such as ABC Family or TBS or whichever is "acceptable" to GOD's eyes. In all honesty, I live happily with just my Bible and related Chrisitan books. Everything else will pass anyway but we believers will live forever with Christ, so let us dwell on things that will prosper us and not bring us down

that was scary competely shocked me all the screaming and the tantrums i havnt watched the episode but i did watch that small part of Marguerite Perrin and my stomach hurts. I dont know what to say competely shocking.
