Thought I'd set up a thread for all you christian drummers out there like myself. Discuss rudiments, loops, your favorite songs to drum to, what kit you like and why... basically anything drumming and God related.
I've been drumming for about 5 years now (4 of which I've been tought for) and I never feel closer to God then when I'm behind Vera, my trusty Yamaha Rydeen drum kit. As drummers I feel like we can be over looked as musicians for God but the thing to remember is that we are the rhythmic powerhouse that drives the band. We may not be at the steering wheel, but without the engine (the drummer) the big worship car aint going anywhere!
P.S did you know that drums are one of the oldest worship instruments?
