That is a good question my friend. I look for the fruit being produced and a peace in my spirit from God.
I currently have 2 main churches I attend. One is my home church and the other the fellowship is the one I am attending in my new home location.
The first is an explosion of evangelism into inner city New Orleans and all over the world. It is filled with an overpowering presence of the Holy Spirit and the people are on fire for Christ. After Hurricane Katrina when most pastors fled our staff took themselves off of salary and sowed into the lives of others with all their hearts.I have seen Pastors come from the four corners of the earth saying "that this place" is where revival began in my church. So no, no worries about money there.
The church we are attending in our new home is also very evangelical and most of the oferings go directly to their global church building projects. I see Jesus in them and working through them so I have no worries about my $'s there either.
Thanks for the responses. The reason that I ask this is becuase I recently became aware that the charity I give quite a bit to has business connections to organizations that really do not support my Christian morals and ideas? Should I be concerned?
