LORD JESUS CHRIST our beautiful savior when he came in a human body to save us, Jews who were waiting for him for ages and all their hopes were set on the coming of their LORD, denied him because they were not expecting a person who was so full of love and who was ready to suffer for them, but they were expecting a worrier. Of course He doesn’t fit to their imagination. Much of responsibility goes to teacher of law or religious leader at that time who created a scary image of GOD to get worldly benefits.
Its true for our age too. Its not in the interest of churches and pastors that people come close to GOD without any third party so they have to scare people from GOD and tell them that you have to be a supper human to talk to GOD, you should be expert in law or bible to reach that standard where you can have a personal relationship with LORD. Although its very clear from gospels that your don’t have to expert in law or bible but u need childlike faith to enter in the kingdom of heaven. LORD came in human body to simplify things not to complicate lives. But in churches most pastors hate to teach gospels and love to peach Paul. They hate to simplify things for the people. Jews or expert in laws killed our LORD and hated him so much because he removed the third party between the creator and HIS creation when he said when u want to pray go into ur room praise the LORD and when He said when u want to help someone don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving may be in secret, there he removed that third party between GOD and His people, and of course they hated him for that, its still same noting has changed yet!
LORD JESUS CHRIST who was full of love even for his enemies when he came in a human body, who prayed on cross that father forgive then for they don’t know what they are doing used most harsh words for experts of law, as he said woe to you expert in law, because u have taken away the key of knowledge, you’re yourself haven’t entered and u have hindered those who were entering. Lord’s words r burning like fire and they r time less and still true for our age and age to come. That’s why bible says that preachers are more under judgment. Its sad to see that some pastors r not even born again Christians.
We are not perfect and most of us who are empty from inside and not filled with spirit like to brag about ourselves, but when u stand on pulpit to preach and there you brag about yourself, instead of glorying GOD you start glorifying yourself, its not matter of right or wrong but it’s the matter of life and death, because there will be some people who might believe you that you are a supper human and instead of following the perfect they might start following you and that lead that person to death when he leave the LORD and follow the imperfect, because no matter how closely u walk with LORD, human beings can be wrong some time, that’s why LORD came to set a standard of perfection to save us from death.
But all the responsibly doesn’t goes to pastors alone it goes to people too who come to churches, there are 3 categories of people who come to churches, some come to churches because GOD is someone scary for them so they come to church so that nothing goes wrong in their lives, their relationship born and die in church as they come and leave church, they come to get rid of GOD for 6 days. Some people come to churches to please pastors and to make contacts, if pastor saw their face its enough for them, their category of people are whose who are really seeking GOD and they are very few.
Traditional Christians come to churches ready to believe every thing pastor says, mostly Asian don’t want to use their brain in religion, they are losing salvation because of that. For me it’s the only place where u should use all of ur intelligence because it’s a matter of life and death. God gave us brain not find a spouse for ourselves or make money but to seek HIM first, if we are not doing that we r misusing his blessings.
There is misconception of among people as they think that if they don’t break any laws and keep coming to churches it means they been saved, after service they hate to talk about LORD, LORD is not their favorite subject unless they have some personal problem and they need to talk to pastors for prayer, its seems they are still living under Moses laws. But the fact is if LORD is not your first love you cant enter into His kingdom. Laws cont save you but only your love for Christ can save you, if you don’t live him how can you love his creation and how can you deny yourself and how can you carry the cross?
FOR true Christians fear for GOD means love for CHRIST, we want to stay away from sin not because we are scared of GOD, but because we love Him more then our lives. Can you cheat if love your spouse? Then how can you sin and break his love laws if He is your first love, if you love him more then your parents, kids, spouse and worldly possessions.
Loving Christ is very easy, its flows like a river from inside and its like a music playing inside you, that still waster state described in psalm 23 is not of outside but its state of our heart and mind when we walk with him, HE want us to love him not because he is most powerful but of his love for his creation.
Truth could be very open in the world, GOD can write on sky that Lord JESUS CHRSIT IS GOD but he doesn’t want that, if you are most beautiful person on earth, most fulfilling person, most powerful. will you stand at the corner of street so that every body can come and share you?
Certainly not, because many will come only because of your beauty without trying to understand who you really are as a person, many will come to use your power for their benefits, there will be very few people who would really love as your are.
