As a Christian I'm aware that I can't hold unforgiveness against anyone lest I forfeit my forgiveness from Jesus.

So if you did something against me, I would forgive you.

I heard it once said unforgiving is like drinking rat poison and expecting the rat to die
All unforgiving does is poison your own soul
I struggled with that as a worldly person my programming was to lash out, to hold that grudge
When i met the lord I had to reprogram my mind (and im still doing it) to think not of the world anymore
And forgiveness was a tough one for me, but once I was able to take that step it was like a great weight had been lifted
When the lord said
Forgive them for they no not what they do I try to apply that to my everyday life
If the question is
“ would I forgive you?”
Then the answer is yes brother, just as I would want the lord to forgive me also
