In the book or letter to the Romans, in the New Testament, we read that Tertius penned the letter on behalf of Paul. See Romans 16:22
I think we can all agree that it was faithfully written as Paul dictated it to him?
The Poll question here is Could you be trusted to write what is dictated to you?
When we write things about the Gospel, about Jesus Christ, about God the Father and the Holy Ghost, about Scripture, do we write it as is or do we/have we added our own bits or slant or understanding to it? OR, are we faithful in the representation of Scripture we give, adding nothing and taking nothing from that which we have been given?
A lot of us like to write things especially here at TalkJesus, which is what the forums are here for. When we write and use words to share what we are saying do we do so faithfully and with such accuracy in mind that must have been with Tertius when he wrote out Paul's letter to the Romans. (considering how much we quote Romans here, it is fitting to examine our writing integrity.)
Please do not think think that this means when quoting Scripture or paraphrasing. What is meant here is in everything we write, does it truthfully and accurately reflect or mirror the whole of Scripture. Are we trustworthy ambassadors of the Word.
This also can overflow into our lives, which it most certainly should but for the purposes of this poll, let's stick to what we actually write.
Bless you ....><>
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints Jude 1;3
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Philippians 1;27
