Courtship and my daughter

Dating in the modern age isn't something my daughter wants and its certainly not something I want for her. My daughter is finally at the age where shes starting to look for potential husbands. I run a very traditional home, she wouldn't be courted by a man I didn't approve of.
My daughter is free to do as she pleases but I raised her to respect herself before God and her family. My question is trying to find a quality man who believes in courtship and traditional marriage, its not impossible to find but it isn't easy either. Does anyone know of any websites or american based Christian matchmaking services? Or hell, a nice single man that believes in God and can provide? Haha

You're in Montana, that's a ways from here. Is there a church near you? Any God-fearing eligible bachelors there?

There is a Christian dating site called "ChristianMingle". Christian Dating for Christian Singles | Join Free @ Christian Mingle

but I'm not sure I would trust anything on-line these days. Better to meet in person, and get to know each other.
I've tried Christian mingle, too much "modern" dating. You make an excellent point about not trusting online men, its hard because we're from a small flock, not much to choose from bachelor-wise.
I find that younger women tend to do well with an older man, much more obedient. Do you have children? Did you ever facilitate the courtship process?

Stay away from matchmaking and websites that claim to be Christian. There's way too much to chance with either of those routes.

From all that you've revealed, it's clear that God has HIS hand on your daughter, and HE will not lead her on a path of destruction. The Spirit has given you and your daughter the fruit of patience and self-control. Allow the Spirit to lead.

For a short time I was involved in a "Christian dating site" as a moderator. I will affirm the above post, STAY AWAY from those sites.
There are like minded God fearing folks who believe as you do. Seek out a good church. It took a grandson 15 years to pop the question.

Are there no eligible young men in your church?

We live in a rural part of South Dakota and while many people and churches claim Christianity, they often do not show much difference from the world. We home schooled our children and now that they are grown (son =23, daughter = 20) We are concerned about how they might find other believers who are like-minded.

Since we believe that it is easier and safer for young people to meet others who are like-minded through family connections and since like-mindedness today imposes increasing geographical difficulties due to scarcity, I set up a web site at christianfamilyconnect.com

I could not think of any other way for traditional Christian families to make this sort of connection. As a Christian father, I see it as my Christian duty to make sure that my children have the best chance at the loving and Christian marriage I have had the privilege to enjoy for the last 27 years.
