i learnt to crochet at the end of 2004 after finding websites to help me with the stitches and have progressed so quickly that when i joined a crochet club to get help and encouragement they were surprised how quickly i learnt and produced good even stitches. I also had help to set up my blog to show my work and it is such a relaxing hobby too.

LOL...sorry Lofty...I think you`ve confused what ladyloves is doing with yarn, with the game of croquet using a mallet, a ball and some wickets.
(I actually dont like to crochet, makes me antsy to sit still so long, but grew up playing croquet, and love the game!)

Hi Ladylovesjesus,

Oh how I wish I could crochet. A friend of mine tried to teach me but I was all thumbs and my stitches were horrible & loose. I do admire those who can crochet and their work. It is pretty amazing.

I myself like to knit. But so far I have only accomplished washclothes and scarves. It is relaxing too until I drop a stitch.

Hey Lofty - I am sorry you got crochet and croquet mixed up but it was cute. I too enjoy a little croquet.
