Obviously this forum has been doing nicely for quite some time long before I got here. . I appreciate the openness. That said I wonder if it might pay to ask of new members that they do not subvert the core doctrines of the faith. This can be done without requiring any sort of confession of faith. OR maybe a section dedicated to discussion of the unorthodox.

I wish you well in this endeavor, but I cannot visualize more than occasional success, they do not believe and always seek to belittle.

I have seen the idea of an 'unorthodox' section work on other fora.

Today we have a member openly denying the deity of Christ and the Trinity. People doing so do NOT arrive with good intent.

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

With churches and Christian forums diminishing in numbers, is it any wonder?

Can Talk Jesus create an Unorthodox section? Or is it set in stone?

Today we have a member openly denying the deity of Christ and the Trinity. People doing so do NOT arrive with good intent.
Also, how one applies the Trinity doctrine should be considered, because there are no scripture teaching the practice of worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son but there are scripture for why there are no scripture teaching for the practice of worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Broadening the way in the worship place to include the worship of the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son is not supported by scripture but reproved by scripture with a warning..

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.....

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Many churches & believers are led astray by that Nicene creed of 381 A.D. because all invitations in coming to God the Father in anything, worship, fellowship, or prayer is by the only way provided and that is by the only way of the Son.

Again, the call to believers & churches in these latter days is to honor the Son as the only way in coming to God the Father by & that is how one strive to enter thru that straight gate as led by the Spirit of Christ to do or else get left behind.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Only the spirit of the antichrist will take your eyes off of the Son in worship, fellowship, and prayer per their visitations with signs & lying wonders whereas the real indwelling Holy Ghost would never do that.

Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

1 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

May God lead you to narrow the way back to the straight gate, the Bridegroom, because He will be coming soon for the abiding bride of Christ that honors Him as the only way to come to God the Father by in living that reconciled relationship with God thru Jesus Christ.

By going out of the way, that iniquity is how many are corrupted & defiled and not ready for the Bridegroom when He comes.

What did Jesus taught regarding those in error or have gone astray?

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

What did Paul teach?

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Will Jesus hold us accountable for what He has taught us for what we have done with those talents?

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

May God bless you & keep you. May He shine His face upon you & give you His peace.

God is the First Person of the Trinity.
You and you god are frauds.

God is the First Person of the Trinity.
I assume you are referring to the Father as the First Person.
You and you god are frauds.
I believe in the Triune God, brother.

The problem I am seeing is that when believers address, pray to, or honor & worship the Holy Spirit, sometimes phenomenon comes where saved believers lose self control & fall backwards and do crazy stuff like in slain in the spirit and holy laughter movement. The 700 Club at one time reported the holy laughter movement was no longer a streamlined Pentecostal/Charismatic event but it was happening in Catholic & Protestant churches. Why is that? By broadening the way in the worship place to include the worship of the holy Spirit with the Father & the Son so that seducing spirits aka the spirits of the antichrists will come in with their visitations of signs & lying wonder in leading many astray and cahsing after them for more of that phenomenon.

Antichrist means "instead of Christ" as in "instead of the Son". The real indwelling holy Spirit will always keep the spotlight on the Son in leading us to testify of Him to glorify Him and that has to include how we worship.

Name calling is not conducive for edification. Seems to be lacking Christ's love in correcting me by scripture, brother. How am I a fraud? where am I wrong about this? I acknowledge the holy Spirit is God but I also acknowledge why the father only wants us to come to Him by and that is by the Son since He is calling sinners away from their spirits to have a personal reconciled relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Galatians 6:1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

May God bless you in the knowledge of Him so that you may bear more fruit & your joy may be full in these latter days where faith is hard to find and apostasy abounding in many churches & not just in Christian forums too.

Careful, brother. Just because he started it with calling me indirectly a fraud, we should not let the devil tempt us in return for it is of the flesh.

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 6:1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Jesus has set the example for us in suffering such slander even if they happen to curse us which is worse.

Matthew 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

I know I need His help in here not to retaliate in like manner. It us even tempting to respond in sarcastic humor but no. It is not conducive for the Lord to minister to others by but by Hs correction & edification by the scriptures..

Just for kicks would one of you morons care to explain how the Son is worshipped with worshipping the Father in the same action ?

LMAO You nut jobs belong here.
And where do you belong, brother, when Jesus told you to teach even the little ones that have gone astray? That is what a disciple does in following Jesus Christ.

Matthew 10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Just for kicks would one of you morons care to explain how the Son is worshipped with worshipping the Father in the same action ?
Because that is what the Faher said to do if any one wishes to honor the Father. This standard of judgment is raised over every believer in how they honor the Father or not by only honoring the Son.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

This is why we do not find any scripture validating that line in the Nicene creed of 381 A.D. of worshiping the Holy Ghost with the Father & the Son when the Holy Ghost in us is leading us to testify of the Son to glorify the Son and that has to include how we come to God the Father in worship.

John 10:
1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber....7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: .........
.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Since it is the Father's will that the Son is the only way to come to God the Father by, to honor the Father by, then that is why there are no scripture for coming to the Holy Spirit in coming to the Father nor are there any scripture in honoring the Holy Spirit in honoring God the Father by when the role of the Holy Spirit in us is leading us to do what He has been sent to do; to testify of the Son thru us to glorify the Son and that has to include worship.

John 15:
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:3 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit is God but because of sinners in the world are relating to spirits in idolatries and the occults, God the Father provided only one way to approach Him by for anything in worship, prayer, and fellowship & that is by the Son. That is the only way sinners can know they are relating to God the father through the Son and that is the only ay churches will know that sinners have repented from serving those spirits that visit with signs & lying wonders.

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

I had hoped that would be what Talk Jesus is all about but it seems the Lord is using it more of an outreach ministry to the little ones that are lost and have gone astray. What would you do unto Jesus for the little ones today?

May we point sinners and Christians that have gone astray to return to their first love and keep their focus on the Son because that is the only way to avoid the spirits of the antichrist so as to be ready for the Bridegroom when He comes.

Just as it is impossible to come to the Father except through Christ , no man can come to Christ except the Spirit draws him.
Keep barking up that tree but their aint no coons in it.
