I know there have been several comments about posting articles written by others, and that we should write or post our own "heart" or "thoughts". I guess it may appear to some or even many that those who post articles written by someone else are lacking something because they are not posting their own writing or teachings. I thought that all Truth comes from God via the Holy Spirit.
Now I will speak "from my heart". It's not about me and this may upset some apple carts, but it's not about you either. Truth is Truth the way or thing in which it is articulated is of the very least importance. It is wisdom that you see at work in many of these such cases. Let me explain, If there is a need for some knowledge on a certain subject and I know of someone who by the inspiration and revelation of the Holy Spirit has written an essay or article addressing and satisfying the need, wouldn't I be wise to utilize it? Now apart from the need to revise or interpret, to knowingly write what has already been written seems to be wasteful in the least and may even be prideful.
I am not a writer, nor am I called to be such. However I am called to be a servant and a brother. I will continue to share what I have with whoever is in need and this includes articles and essays written by others. I know there are some others here who have this same heart and attitude. So please do not assume that because they "cut and paste" that they are lacking inspiration from the Holy Spirit. It may very well be that self preservation is what is lacking and maybe the gift of wisdom flowing freely and more fully.
