Intimate Conversations with a Loving Father

GOD OF ABRAHAM,
ISAAC, AND JACOB
“I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham,
the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”
Exodus 3:6
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I have called out great leaders in the past—gifted men and women—who followed Me in faith throughout their lives. But I delight in using all My children. Yes, I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But flaws dotted their characters, too. Still, I blessed them and used them. It’s not how great your gifts are that determines how I use you, but how big your faith can climb and how available you are to Me. Remember, I’m a big God.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, I cannot stand in Your presence without shoes removed and heart bared. Wherever You are is holy ground. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. How is it that a God this big, the God of these giants, could be my personal God, too?
