HOSPITALITY
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Psalms 23:5
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, don't you know My heart is an open house for you? Just as you prepare a place for Me in your heart, I, too, have a heart that welcomes all My children. I've prepared the finest delicacies for you to eat. I love nothing better than to sit down with you at My table and enjoy sweet fellowship together. "Welcome Home" is something you will hear as soon as you step across the threshold of heaven. But even now, I extend hospitality to you. I have a big house—and a big heart. You are always My treasured guest!
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
You roll out a carpet of clover and invite me to renew Your friendship daily in quiet, green meadows. As part of Your royal hospitality, You lay an extravagant table with a delicious feast, fit for a child of the King. My cup overflows with gratitude.
SIMPLE TRUTH
In a sense, we have been given the privilege of being the caretakers of another's happiness.
