RECONCILIATION

Not only is this so,

but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Romans 5:11

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, have you ever tried to step into the middle of an argument and negotiate an impossible situation? Because of your own sin nature, you literally stood on one side of the world and God on the other. But the good news is that My death brought you together. I stepped in the middle and brought a Holy God into the same room with you—who even now sits at the same table of fellowship. I provided reconciliation—and forgiveness. Your sins, which were numerous, are now as far away as the east from the west. Aren't you glad you're a child of God?

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, You are my reconciliation, my only access to the Father. Like darkness joining the light, spring welcoming winter, the lion befriending the lamb, You have opened the door to the Father's own heart. Your life was the bridge that took me there. Thank You, Jesus.

SIMPLE TRUTH

God is as near to you as the prayer of your heart.
