SON OF MAN
"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men,
the Son of Man will also acknowledge him
before the angels of God."
Luke 12:8
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I was often called Son of Man so others would know that My divine roots allowed human grief. When others need help, will they turn to you if you don't understand or feel their pain? You cannot be too heavenly minded, but you can walk so high above the clouds that you fail to see the needs of people below. Born of the Spirit, yet of a virgin, I can identify with mortal flesh. I see others—and you. You are the reason why I came to earth.
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
You were the Son of God, yet You were the Son of Man. This miracle, this mystery, confuses the wise and challenges the skeptics. But how could You have known what it was like to walk in my shoes and feel my hurts had You not been both human and divine? Thank You, Lord, for understanding.
SIMPLE TRUTH
God saw the world at its worst and gave us His best.
