THE LAST ADAM
So it is written:
"The first man Adam became a living being";
the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:45
FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, do you often wish you had not been born with Adam's sinful nature? So do I. But from the beginning, I knew the last Adam would transform your nature from a creeping caterpillar to a shimmering butterfly. I am that last Adam, the One who came to deliver you from an impossible plight when no one else could. Because of Me, the old Adam nature no longer holds you in bondage. You are free, My child. Enjoy the fellowship of that freedom!
A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, I'm so grateful that this natural, earthly body is not the end. The first Adam represented our sinful lives. But You are the last Adam, the spiritual dynamo that carries me across the threshold of eternity. One day I won't struggle with temptations any longer. Because You came, I can live forever.
SIMPLE TRUTH
What a shame to have wings and never fly.
