Hi guys, I would like to share something with you, some history from my country. As I am a South African, I am also an Afrikaner, my home language is Afrikaans.

+- 170 years ago God saved my family by saving the Voortrekkers in a battle, the battle of blood river on this day, the 16th December.

This day was always comemerated as the day of the Covenant, as these men and woman made a vow to God if He delivered them from the battle, they would always remember that day. Times have changed, but I will always remember today and tell my friends about it, even if they are half way accross the world.

btw this days are special for us jews to (though in our calender which is diffrent from the christian one) and if someone wanna know its in an outside book but still very respected the book of maccabees. anyway this is great to hear and know thank you very much. happy 16th dec!
