yeah i guess a lot of people won't read this because of the topic...i wouldn't.

how do you all deal with death? to me it is so scary. it makes me feel sick when i think about dying or think about someone I love dying.

why would god send people to hell. i know he gives everyone a choice to ask for forgivness bla bla bla...but i think he should forgive them for not asking and let them into heaven. some people ask for forgiveness on their death bed, but what about people who die suddenly and don't have a chance.

do you think god ever lets anyone out of hell? dont you think that is such an evil thing to do to someone...send them there forever. and it can be a good person too right? i mean someone who is kind and loving, and genereally just a good person can go to hell.

do you ever get really really mad at god when you think about death? do you ever wonder what on earth his plan is...i mean don't you wonder what kind of god could give people so much pain from loosing loved ones. what kind of plan is this...not a loving one.

anyhow that's my two cents for the day. i know this is kind of the unanswerable question...but in my opinion death, suffering and pain are kind ofa flaw in this religion.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

The ONLY way you can go to heaven is if you believe that Jesus can save you and crean you of your sins. God is a just God he punishes sinners, but he will NEVER turn you away if you come to him.

God will not send a person to hell if he believs in him.

One thing i learned is not to blame God fo things that happen in your life. I blamed him once, and i got in a car accident, i knew it was for that because my conciense told me " thats cuz u blamed God" then i had to learn to be thankfull for everything God does in your life. God never wants anything bad for you.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Do you have a Bible? The Bible answers all our questions about life and death. There is no "unanswerable question." You need to read the Bible. Have read the Bible verses given to you in the replies posted in your threads?

Hi Nicolek, my post may not help you much, but I feel the need to share some things. I've lost those close to me - as has everyone at some time. It always hurts because we know we will no longer have them with us while here on earth.

But I want to share from another perspective. I've worked as an ER nurse for several years. I've seen lots of people die. I have seen some people pass very peacefully from this life & I've seen others fight as if they know the end isn't going to be what they would want if they could have foreseen it. For those peaceful deaths, it had nothing to do with the way they died...the pain involved or the means that brought their death. It had to do with their relationship with God. I'm not saying they did not feel pain, but I am saying the Glory they saw far exceeded any pain they felt.

God is merciful...he promises to take our worn, tired bodies & give us new, glorified bodies. The sin nature is why we have these worn bodies in the first place.

He is also merciful in that only those who accept His Son will be able to enter into Heaven. If all could enter, what would be the purpose? If evil could dwell once again amongst the believers...why even have the Son appear to call Home His Church? God gives us every chance to come to Him...He sent His Son, He gave us His Word to guide us, angels to watch over us, the Holy Spirit to comfort & teach us. He is not lacking in His Love. He is not lacking in His mercy.

Things hurt. Losses bring pain that makes us react & sometimes we react with anger. Anger is safe - or so we think. It keeps us from feeling the full pain of the loss. Understanding of anything can only come about by God providing it. Pray for an understanding, but first pray for a heart to accept what teachings you are given. A heart not softened to learning will not let understanding enter in.
