I enjoy deer hunting and havent had any luck this season. Will you pray the Lord will let me harvest a deer if it's his will? Thanks and God Bless

Let's not forget a few things that are important:

1. Every believer can pray directly to the Father in Jesus' name
2. Deers are GOD's beautiful creature. If you enjoy killing deers, I think there is a problem. If this is for food, I would assume it is safe as killing cows, fishes, etc for food.

I pray that GOD grants you wisdom and guidance by His Spirit to do the right thing according to His will

I eat them

I don't kill them for fun.And if i dont eat them,i give the meat to others that like it.

I grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania. We lived out in the country, and during hunting season, hunters used our driveway to get to a rather popular path and area. I remember being 12 years old, opening our door and screaming at the hunters as they got ready to go into the woods, "Murderers!" (I loved the deer, they were my friends.)

My mother told me not to call the hunters murderers. She said I was going to get in trouble. My brother laughed at me and said didn't I know we'd been eating deer venison all year? (My mother seasoned it properly so it just tasted like beef.)

It continued to bother me every year and sometimes I even went out into the woods and covered the deer tracks in the snow with my own boot tracks. My neighbor, a hunter, saw me out in the woods covering deer tracks and told my mother. Everyone said I was going to get shot, I had long brown hair and looked like a deer.

Deer are God's beautiful creatures, Chad. I love them so much.

Unfortunately, there is an over-population of deer in some areas of US (or so they say), and if there weren't a hunting season, they would starve to death for lack of food.

My husband grew up on a farm and has had to butcher pigs, rabbits, chickens, etc. to eat. I don't think I could do it. And I know I couldn't shoot a deer. But I don't seem to have any problem opening a package of ground beef, cooking it, and eating it.

Amen.......These animals are so beautiful......And I am far away from your situation........but to pray that you will kill such.......

I have to wonder.

I'm sorry

if i have offended anyone because of my request.I know people are agaist hunting, but if there were no hunting, animals would over populate.I enjoy the meat,i enjoy being outside and being in God's creation.Even if i dont harvest a deer,i still enjoy it anyway.Again if i have offended,i ask your forgiveness.Chad if this offends anymore, will you delete it?I dont want to offended anyone else. Thanks and God Bless

Lets not forget that God gave his children dominion over all creatures. Killing a deer and deriving enjoyment from killing, or leaving it to rot in the woods would be a problem.

Killing a deer and gaining sustenance (or providing sustenance to others) from it's flesh is exactly what God had in mind. I may be new here but thats just my humble opinion.

Let the Lord's will be made manifest within and without, and success be on the way. May safety abound and peace within be known, whatever the outcome might be. In the name of Jesus, amen.
