So I was talking to one of my friends on the phone today because I called him to alleviate one of my debts to the Lord; I did that, and it went really strange and I bless the Lord I believe Jesus or God did something for me to maintain the peace or something miraculous because he could not hear me confess my entire sin it was like his hearing was blocked during my confession to him and I think the Lord was involved and I bless to Lord for it because it just had a feeling of divine intervention to it. Anyway what I am worrying about is something that came next.
He has a son that's about 3 years old and I told him to make sure he teaches the Gospel to his son, since Christ says anyone who receives a child for him is very blessed Matthew 18:5.
I wonder though if I am a hypocrite for saying this to him because it's like I tried to pull a plank from his eye before acknowledging the bar in my own Matthew 7:3. So I feel like a hypocrite for doing such a thing, but in my heart I felt I had to tell him that to make sure he would teach the Gospel to his Son and have the blessing of receiving Jesus in that way.
