ah, green tea! Revolting stuff, really...although my sister swears by it. However doctors/ and studies show that there is no evidence to back this up. But it is healthy and full of good benefits!

You want to know the quickest way?? Hun, weight loss, is a loooong process...
And rapid weight loss is VERY bad anyway, because you could end up with this excess skin which just sags, and stretch marks all over.. I dont think that would be nice..
To lose weight you dont even have to really diet. Just change your lifestyle and be healthy. Your mothers weight would just naturally slim down, because of this change.
And i hate the "no carbs" talk.. Carbs are incredibly important in a diet... Just switch to the brown stuff, which is low GI and high fibre. And High fibre/low GI can work, because it helps making you feel fuller, longer.
Hmm...whatelse.. Stay away from diet products!! Ah, i cant stress that enough!! Sure they are low in energy, but artificial sweeteners are dangerous in the long run, and can cause cancers.. Also they actually make you crave food. So they're a definite no-no- Things that are more closer to natural, or organic foods are probably the best way to go, for a healthier diet... (and also weight loss)
And lastly...if your mother... or who-ever, doesnt see results straight away... don’t panic! Because it will happen, if youre patient and stick to it!
(And please dont fall into one of those FAD diets, which does guarantee quick weight-loss ... (But thats not to say that it actually stays off!)
