Discerment question

Hi brothers and sisters,

I have some question regarding discernment. Hope you guys have some experience with it can help me out. My question is how do you know that when you're discerning someone that it is coming from God?? For example, I don't it is me or not but this is my experience. When I see Benny Hinn preach there seem to be a dark force at work, therefore I haven't watch Benny Hinn eversince. And more and more each day as I see more Tele-evangalist such as Peter (The Micracle water guys), I have a feeling as if they are fake and their teach sole purpose was for money.

Well, the problem is I don't want to judge anyone. Especially someone that is led by the Holy Spirit, and are Man of God. But how can we verify that this discerning is coming from God, or from ourselves for being judgmental. But on the other hands I don't want to be misled by these guys who purpose is to rob people and making fake promise to them and cause them to fall away from God. I stand in the middle, one is that just give up and don't judge anyone, so myself would feel at ease for not judging anyone. And the other is to discern and beware of these people stay away from them.

Are you not from eternity, O LORD, my holy God, immortal? O LORD you have marked him for judgment, O Rock , you have readied him for punishment!

God Blesses everyone, any advice would be nice. I'm feel like just give up and don't discern anything to keep my heart at ease. But deep in my heart, I know I can't do it.

Discernment...

According to my experienc discernment consists in experiencing of peace. Any decission we make must be from the inner peace and it should give us peace. If there is lack of peace and then there is problem of the real spirit working in us.

Thank you friend, I feel peaceful. But yet I'm confuse to know which path should I take. I just have been troubled by this issue, not that I lack peace in my life. I still have peace but I just trouble over what to do. To discern by faith, or to stop discerning altogether if I can't know tell if the discerning is coming from God or from me. Wait and see..

We can take emotional decisions..based on our feelings but they will not last as the emotions do not last. Then we can decide with reasons...or rational basis and reasons are often not enoug to convince us. So we need faith based on experience and conviction. Test the spirit and then you will no the truth. If you have more doubt we can discuss in Bible chat.

Yes brother,

Before I pray I read Habakkuk, in the Book of Habakkuk, he have question about how evil triumph over good people. I have the same question of my own why do God allow fake preacher, fake evangelist to misled his people. In a way, I found an answer from the Book of Habakkuk. Thx for your help Marciek.
