hello community, my name is Kaweesa moses, 23 from Uganda and I just completed my studies at university, waiting for graduation.
My life at campus has been one of leaving in denial of who iam.
I've been involved in ministry, particularly am a dancer as part of my ministry,we believed that people can be born-again just by being inspired by our dancing. It was a way of mostly bringing the university students closer to accepting Jesus as lord and our saviour who died for our sins and the path through which we get to the Father.
Now, I was doing this all, I loved it and I love Jesus. But the challenge, I have another identity, I do club, I drink, have had sex a multitude if times even when am not married.
All this I know am sinning, I do repent but I just go back to do the same things over and over.
I was preaching things I don't do and people (fellow students could wonder) how can he do that, but I just did it.
In a nut shell, I love Jesus and I know one day am to be delivered from all the pleasures of the world and stick only to him, preach and do what I preach.

Welcome to the forum, may the Lord Bless you for sharing your inner fight and acknowledging you are a disturbed youth. That tells me the Lord is already blessing you as you have shared your heart felt concerns with us.

Firstly your dancing, nothing wrong with the dancing my friend, it is a blessing and is bringing others of your age together, but people cannot be born-again by your dancing. Salvation only comes from our Lord.

Salvation can only come through Jesus Christ, not dancing, there needs to be repentance, baptism, confession of faith, surrender to Christ.
Jesus says 'Follow Me'
Now the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, but this is not an excuse on our part to sin and blame the flesh, we all have a choice.
Many people talk about evolution, man from animals, we know my friend that is not so, there are many differences between man and animals, two are very clear.
- Man is made of body, spirit and soul
- Man was given a conscience.
Praise the Lord for the conscience my friend because that is why you have come to TalkJesus.

To follow Christ is to be His Disciple, we are to practice what we preach, we cannot preach The Word amongst people, then go to a club and get drunk, have sex outside marriage, did Jesus' disciples do this as they 'Followed Him'? No.
We have to be strong, and of good faith. Trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding.

is with you wherever you go."
The devil is attacking you where you are weakest my friend, he knows your weak points, he knows all our weak points. But you know what is sin my friend, you have a choice every time the devil attacks you, you tell him to get lost and tell him Jesus is your Lord, or you sin, and if you sin you will for sure do it again and again. Which I feel my friend is where you are now.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle
you.

Notice verse 8 - Be sober, be vigilant, the devil is always seeking who to devour.
And verse 9 - Resist him! Bhesed in Faith, Steadfast in Faith.

What did Jesus say over and over again to sinners, your sins are forgiven, 'Go and Sin No More.
When we ask for forgiveness He grants it, but says also commands us to, 'Go and Sin No More'
Go and Sin No More!
Jesus was crucified, He died for OUR sins, He shed His Blood for our Sins, what a price to pay, and He Paid it in Full.
Why? Because God so loved the world.
Why? So that we can come to the Father through Him.
Why?
So that we can be strong in Him and have good faith.
So that we can resist the devil.
So that we can 'Follow Him'
So that we can be forgiven
So that we can go in His Name, and sin no more.
