Do most christian stations play soft music?

Google "local Christian radio stations" or something like "christian radio stations in [location]", being your state.

In NY/NJ/PA there is Star 99.1 and K-Love which both are awesome. They place all contemporary worship music, awesome stuff.

You can also listen to them live on their site. Most radio stations have a live streaming feature on their sites. Also, Pandora is great too.

Google Air1 Radio...it's the station I listen to most of the time. They play a lot of "alternative" and harder Christian music. You can listen online and also check and see if they have a local station near you.

We have 'Life FM' here in Adelaide. For most part of the day it is mellow. After 7pm it is mainly for the kids. Harder, racier. There are so many to choose from. Hope you find one you like. Most Radio stations stream nowadays as well.

Thank you all for the replys.I listen to Life Fm too,they have a lot of preaching on there(which is great).I think that is probably the only reason I listen to christian radio and that is to listen to the Jockeys and preachers.When I am feeling down and I want a pick me up sometimes soft music doesn't do it for me.I like upbeat music during that time (NOT compromising the gospel though),like Steven Curtis Chapmen's(?) "Dive" or Sounds of Blackness "I believe".
