I don't know about you guys but here lately I have been planning and thinking about the future. being a college student it seems as though that is done a lot. But I know I have been planning and dreaming with out God. This created a lot of stress for me because I would try to have a plan or a back up plan and it wouldn't include jesus,I would not do it intentionally. the pans would fall a part. after planning and the plan failing I would pray and ask God "why?" this would go on for some time and today, this morning he gave me the scriptures James 4:13-16
Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; where as you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
This tell me that whether its about today or tomorrow God wants to consoul you about your plans. He wants to be included and you never know he may have a better one.
