Sometimes I get really frustrated because I'll fail the Lord or I'll make a mistake more than once. Does anyone else do this or feel the same way?

To simply answer your question. YES... I am not so sure frustrated is the way I end up feeling but I do eagerly wait for that day of change.

OH YES!!!

Please dont ever feel alone with that . . . We are saved through GRACE by faith . . .

nothing we can do impresses God sweety . . .

He has been there, done that, bought the T-shirt . . .

He is always ahead of us and Im so thankful I can follow, sometimes on His hand, sometimes in His footsteps . . .and sometimes not at all. . .

Thats when He carries me

It happens to everyone

I often feel this way. In the past I was always trying to make it to perfection I would beat myself up so bad everytime I sinned I thought I could overcome sin on my own and basically my faith was based on my works instead of the Lords and just the other day I was talking to my friend about this. He is preparing me for minstry and I told him I did'nt know if I'd every be ready because I felt that I make too many mistakes and I'm afraid of letting those around me down. But then he told me no matter what I'll always fall short and make mistakes we will be imperfect for the rest of our lives we will always make mistakes but it's where our hearts are and our desire to do better. It happens to all of us all we can do is try and when we fall down ask for the Lord's forgiveness and get back up and dust ourselves off and go forward. Don't be too hard on yourself and trust the Lord will bring you through this. Godbless love in Christ.

Dear Mrs Davis

We all feel this way from time to time. Thank the Lord for our beautiful Lord Jesus who still loves us no matter what......and when we commit all our failings to Him, He is ever there to lift us up

And in His word we are reassured by His promises that can never fail (even when we continually fail Him)

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.....Psalm 145:14

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Phil 4:13

Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ....... 1 Cor 15:57

We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us......
Rom 8:37

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen...Jude 1:24

Thank You dear Lord that Your mercies are new every morning, and that You love us even when we fail You. Help us to lean on You more and more....standing in Your never failing strength.

The Lord bless you Mrs Davis

Julia

What we see in ourselves as failure, Father sees much differently...

Walking with God is supposed to be teaching us absolute dependence on Him...

How else would we learn to appreciate grace, if we were`nt daily...minute by minute even...reminded of our dependence on it...

Keep you hand in Fathers...keep your eyes on Him, not on yourself (its the surest way to stumble, by staring at your own feet while walking with God)

I know two things for sure:

I am not faithful. (tho it is my constant desire to be)

Father is faithful. (therefore I only have faith in Him, not myself)

Jas 1:5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to everyone generously without a rebuke, and it will be given to him.

Father does`nt chastise us for the lack of wisdom that causes our oft repeated mistakes..
He simply says "learn of me child"

Mat 11:28 "Come to me, all of you who are weary and loaded down with burdens, and I will give you rest. Place my yoke on you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is pleasant, and my burden is light."

1Jn 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

Excellent post Coconut! Oh Hallelujah! So many think that when we fall it hurts our testimony, but this is only true if our testimony is about ourselves.

Paul said; " *Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. *Each time he said, “My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me. *Since I know it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite content with my weaknesses and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We are all going to make mistakes because we live in a fleshy body. Are flesh does not want us to serve the Lord. We just need to put Him first in our lives, and strive to be like Him
