I can hear a loud " NO ", from the top of many adults who think its innocent fun and these little girls look like princesses. But the last time I check a princess wore modest apparel. And their beauty came within and was seen through their character.

I took a risk typing in phrases like " little miss perfect pageants photos ", little miss sunshine pageants " and "child pageant photos".

Do you know if I was a man and the police took my pc, they'd charge me with child pornography and call me a pedophile, for visiting websites with photos like these.

I stop wondering what is right because the moral scale has tipped and the world itself is confused.

The devil is very smart, he knows the only way to make someone a drug addict is to keep feeding them. Making sure drugs are readily available. It's no longer their choice because Satan is the ring master, putting the people in place and creating an atmosphere so this weak individual have to submit .

A person is not born a pedophile or sex offender, but a seed must be planted and my question is....can kid pageants be the water needed for these sexual demons to grow. Is it possible that what seem innocent can actually be a scheme from the enemy.

My opinion is yes, but no.
I'm no psychologist, but here's my thoughts..

To the issue of whether a person has that seed planted to become a pedophile,.. I'd have to say not neccessarilly. At it's core, a pedophile isn't wanting sex ..as much as love. Since they are an adult (for just the sake of this thread), their actions are of an adult nature. That is, they feel love thru sexual contact, and are looking for that feeling of validation thru the same sex of the one from whom they did not receive it from, while growing up. As well to the issue is a coward on the inside, who prays on whom he feels he can control.

A free peep show.. yes, unfortunately.
It angers me the level to which our country has devolved, and there seems to be no bottom..!??

And robbing thier innocence is exactly what the enemy is targeting.

YES again! My daughter said she received a flyer from the Atlantic Super store here last week, that was promoting their new line of clothing. She said she was absolutely shocked at several pages of underage girls in very seductive poses advertising young girls under garments. Now that flyer went into every mailbox in the city. What are these 'advertisers' thinking, and why would any parent allow their young daughters to be exposed this way? We live in world where the depraved minds of the Fathers and Mothers of these children do not seem to be able to see they are allowing the 'industry' (and I wonder if the many of these 'industries' are being led by pedophiles themselves) to corrupt thier childrens minds, and steal their innocence. It teaches them nothing more than how to advance in this world, using thier booties, and not their brains (pardon the expression)

I have to disagree with this. I'm no psychologist either, but my own encounters with, and knowledge about pedophiles, sounds a resounding NO to your argument. Pedophiles, at the very core of themselves, are about nothing more than sinful and lustful desire, and satisfying that lust at any cost to themselves or their innocent victims. If you consider that many pedophiles are married men, who molest and rape their own children, and would do the same to every child they could have free contact with, then nobody will ever convince me, the root of their desire is to be loved.

That's the same as saying rape is about love. That at it's core, the rapist just really wants to be loved. That's why there's the planning and the predatory behavior? Pedophiles are predatory people. They're not naive. They know what's wrong. They know it damages. But choose to do it anyway. How can that be about love? Seems to me that the orgasm is the ultimate goal.

And yeah, I've heard that pedophiles frequent the child pagent sites, but don't know based on anything solid. But the images are obviously sexualizing children. So it would make sense. Don't know if it would do anything to lessen pedophilia, though, if they took away child pagents.

Hilton asked her: 'Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalise same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?'

Prejean is to be respected and honored for all that she said and did. She is full-grown, however, and it was her choice to be involved in the American pageant.

It's a different situation with mothers putting small children into pageants.

That is a great article, though, and I do admire Ms. Prejean. I pray God will truly bless her, and I know that He has reason to bless her for what she did.

I don't see anything wrong about pageants, except that the little girls are getting dolled up like they are 25 years old! I hate seeing any girl, under the age of 14, wearing makeup, it just doesn't look right to me, for them to act all grown up at such young ages.

Some look like they get their hair dyed/colored, wearing makeup, wearing hairspray at such a young age, fake spray on tans, and act rudely (sometimes) towards their parents. The whole point in BEING a child, is being all natural (natural beauty).

I have seen that show "Toddlers & Tiaras" and I'm appalled at how they doll up these little girls! They should look like little girls in these pageants, not like they are grown already.... Seems like a great place for a pedophile to be stalking at.

When these kids compete to be little miss perfect 'anything and grow up to be less than perfect; hair loss, boyfriend loss, physical deformed, learning disorder, ANYTHING... its a door to depression, suicide and other issues that could have been avoided.
