Does your life have any real meaning or purpose?

Why are you alive? Just what are you living for? Are you living life on purpose, or just going through the motions? A God-focused life is the only life worth living. With God in charge and Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, your life develops real purpose. Pleasing God, or "Worship" is the primary purpose for your life. Becoming a part of His family, or "Fellowship" is another. Everybody feels the need to belong. Christians belong to the one, true, eternal family of God. Faith in Jesus Christ is the only prerequisite. That makes you a child of God. Once you join the family of God, look out! All the treasures of heaven are now yours. Your Heavenly Father will lavish all the resources of heaven upon you as you obediently follow Him.

In the process, you will be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. Eventually you will inherit eternal life, escape sorrow and death, and be rewarded as you share in Christ's eternal glory. What a benefit package! For now, your Father in heaven wants you to get along with your brothers and sisters here on earth. Fellowship is the supernatural flow of love from God to you and then out towards others. Love is the supreme command. Jesus told us that loving God (worship) is the first and greatest command. He also stated that loving others (fellowship) is the second most important command. In fact, He went on to say that this is how His true followers would be known, by their sincere love for each other. Take a moment to focus your life and live on purpose, God's purpose. Worship God and love His people. God be with you all...

shortlady, this post is special, because a lot of christians seem to be looking for purpose. Our purpose really is hidden in Him. And it's not that hard to find, as we worship Him and fellowship with each other. It really is all about Him.

This post certainly makes a liar out of Randy Newman's song "Short People"

WOI WOI!!!!
This topic has come up in my life a lot over this past week...
Umm..
I haven't found my purpose yet, but I know it's there. For all I know, I'm serving my purpose without even knowing it.. And that's kinda cool :)
