Im not sure if I posted this in the right place.
This week I was told by a relative that she has been having these dreams for a few nights now, of a dark figure following her everywhere.
She said she wasnt worried or scared, but that it was really odd.
She claims to have already accepted Jesus.
I know she has had a hard past, and after many many years broke out of her cult-like religion about a year ago.

Im wondering if anyone else seems to be alarmed by these dreams? Im actually very worried, and wondering if I should ask her to see the pastor and pray over her also....?
Or am I raising a red flag over nothing?

Interpretation of dreams is not my cup of tea but experience tells me this:
The enemy of our souls loves to give us bad dreams and tries to steal our peace. Generally a simple "Father give me godly dreams and thoughts of You in Jesus Name as I rest" will do the trick as I simply decide to trust God for the results.
Bad dreams we have had, typically I simply reject them with a "I break the power of ungodly dreams in the Name of Jesus", again trusting God for the results and keeping my peace.
As far as any other issues there is a simple scriptural guideline:
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Submit to God- draw near and seek His face, spend time with Him and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit.

2. Resist the devil- do not give him place in your thought life. Reject anything or thought he tries to give and answer with dependency on God and His Word.

3. He will flee from you- if you are walking in the Spirit (in total dependence on and led by) the devil has no place in you and fears your very footsteps.
I am praying for your relative. May the peace of God that passes all understanding guard her heart and mind and may His peace fill her home.
Many blessings in Jesus Name,
brother Larry.

If a person hides the Word of God continually in his or her heart, and meditates upon it prayerfully, then thoughts are far less likely to be given free reign.

God communicates to us in accordance with His Word.

I don't pay particular attention to dreams, other than referring to them as "Fractured Fairytales" because they make absolutely no sense.

But, for your relative, I would recommend paying particular attention to how she feels about her dreams. If the dream is just precieved to be real, it is still real to that perdson and needs to be addressed by an expert.
Many people are "held in bondage" to some types of dreams and they need to be dealt with!
