Sometimes I feel so dry........................ I just don't want to do anything. Seems like I become tired quickly. I HATE when I feel like this.............don't want to pray, or read, or anything else, I just want to sit and feel horrible. Feels like I become bored sometimes, not most of the time but sometimes, and I just want to do something else. Despite the awesome amazing wonderful things Father Jesus reveals everyday.

I HATE this feeling because I love God with all of my heart, and I want to spend much time with Him, but my mind says otherwise.

Then I found out this is called the wilderness. A dry, uncomfortable place. forest. God strategically places us sometimes in those positions to get closer to Him, to see want we can do, how we can survive. He knows when we need to pray. So when the dryness comes upon me, I have to push and press my way to a oasis. That is the whole lesson- having the faith, perseverance, and determination to press your way into the holy place where God dwells, even when your minds says otherwise. Self control. You are in control of your flesh, not the other way around

satan will try to make our lives seem as boring as possible, by tempting you with the good (but destructive) life God delivered us from-when our only pleasure was the sinful things of the world. he wants you to look back......

Genesis 19:26- "But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt."

Lott's wife. Of course, her disobedience of God's command of NoT LOoking Back had a part of her perpetual, salty dryness. But that's why God tells us to NEVER look back, never think about old things, never go back to Egypt, because when she looked back- that was symbolic that a part of her heart was still in Sodom. Her heart had to be destroyed with Sodom since it was with Sodom. Looking back show a sense of desire and want for the evil things in th past. God made Sodom desolate and dry. She looked back at the desolation and became desolate and dry. She was transformed into her heart's desire-looking back sparks a simultaneous effect- brings the connection with her and the burning Sodom, ever closer, causing her to become one with Sodom.

Don't look back. Press your way into a oasis with Father God.
Thanks.

Thank you for sharing lion's torch !
it's a great encouragement,

Isaiah 41:17-20 (New International Version)

17 "The poor and needy search for water,
but there is none;
their tongues are parched with thirst.
But I the LORD will answer them;
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

18 I will make rivers flow on barren heights,
and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water,
and the parched ground into springs.

19 I will put in the desert
the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive.
I will set pines in the wasteland,
the fir and the cypress together,

20 so that people may see and know,
may consider and understand,
that the hand of the LORD has done this,
that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 40:30-31 (New King James Version)

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Blessings!
