easy tips to stay healthy

Hey all,

There are few easy tips that I want to share if you want to slim down or stay healthy in your body/mind . This should apply for the guys too.

This is what I do ::
  • Make Special Time/ appointment with God --- Read the Word--- Prov 4:20-22.
  • Eat good amount of breakfast --- never skip .....as it activates your energy level. ( egg, toast, fruit juice, milk)
  • Try to stay away from coffee and Tea---- as they decrease your water level and ofcourse stain your teeth!!
  • Drink water---- this enables you to look fresh and young
  • do Aerobics/exercise ---- for 20min everyday is awesome, this will help you sleep good and your blood is circulated and keeps your brain healthy.
  • Have fruits!!/veggies ---- God made them just for you, it has so many nutrients. Keep junk food once in a blue moon.
  • SMILE---- even if you don't feel like it... people will sure wonder why your smiling ( ofcourse you have Jesus! -- thats a good way of spreading the Gospel :))
  • Rest well--- 10pm is the best time to sleep. Your body needs atleast 8 hours of sleep during which your brain puts all the information that you have gathered during the day into "files".
  • Do somethin that you enjoy
  • Be tidy ---- this really affects your psychological state and how you look at things/situations. A tidy room keeps you happy and fresh. The best way to do this, is to look out for things to clean up... like dusting off your comp screen/ cleaning up your fridge.

A while back I decided to drop some weight, so I dropped 15lbs in 4 weeks, simply by exercising daily, eating right and drinking alot of water. Water increases your metabolism, and if there is one tip I can give anybody about loosing weight is CUT THE SUGAR!! Sugar is the main reason that people put on weight, you only need a small amount daily and any excess gets converted into body fat. Soft drinks are terrible for weight, always check on how much sugar you are eating and use substitutes like honey.

When doing exercises keep in mind that in the first 15 minutes you will not be burning fat, your body waits till it depletes its primary source of energy (glycogen) before it starts burning fat. So keep on running,biking for more then 15minutes, preferably to one hour if you are really serious about loosing weight.

And most of all, do it slowly, most people go extreme and then revert back to their old ways of eating and gain all the weight back. This is a process that must be walked at a moderate pace, so you get used to the new lifestyle.
