Most of you may have been alerted to this and viewed the video already, some maybe haven't. Perhaps we can discuss the issues surrounding this. I have placed it in this forum because I believe it to be prophetically profound.
Is Protestantism now redundant? Is the protest truly over? Has Rome changed to the point where she can now be accepted as a genuine Christian church? Was faith and grace alone the only point of contention between Luther and Rome? Was Luther the only reformist? There are many questions. Many of you no doubt belong to churches that are led by some who attended this meeting. Do you support them in this ecumenical endeavour? Do you believe the pope (and thus his church) to be the rightful leader of any 'superchurch' resulting from a union?
