I’ve been a Christian my whole life, but recently came across a book about raelism.
It focuses on an alien society called the “Elohim”, who claim to have created humanity and all living things on earth.
It all seems to be a scheme of the devil, but they bring up that the word Elohim is actually used in the Bible many many times; including when speaking of how God created the earth.
The word Elohim is also plural, which would mean more than one god created the earth.
This leads me to believe primitive human minds could have perceived multiple aliens as these “gods” that created everything.
I’ve not felt the same about my faith since finding this out, and am really struggling to find the answers I need.

Truth is always confiscated by the Father of lies in an attempt to keep you from knowing the actual truth.
There is truth to the usage of the word Elohim in the bible approximately 2300 times.
Elohim denotes the "substance of diety" and is a Title, not a name. It is not Yahweh.
Elohim is a PLURAL word from the singular Elo'ah. It would seem that this word Elohim, translated as God, is most likely plural and feminine, but it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be.
Now if we look closer at the words of God we would see that God spoke and God(Elohim) brought what was spoken into existence.
The question then becomes who or what is Elohim?
Forget the book about the alien society as thats a fraud. The Elohim are and always were a part of God just like a human heart is part of the human. But the heart, composed of billions of individual cells working together, cannot survive on its own without the other parts of the body, and neither would the Elohim as they were/are just a part of God with no independent life of their own.
As it happens Jesus was the head of the Elohim group, just as you were a part of that group as well. In fact all spirits of men that ever came to the earth were/are part of that group. For that part
of God was the part that He chose to transform into independent living beings that will one day possess all the character of God Himself. Jesus being the first to complete the process.
As that was his destiny according to His Fathers plan.
Now as a way of using biblical info to try and envision this.
Heb 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of the same....."
Heb 2:17 "Wherefore in ALL things it behooved him to be
made like unto his brethren..........."
Rom 8:29 "For whom He(God) did foreknow
He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He
(Jesus) might be the FIRST born among many brethren."
Heb 1:5 "For to which of the angels did He(God) ever say:
You are My Son,
Today, I have begotten you?
And again:
I
will be to him a Father,
And He
shall be to Me a Son."
Point being Jesus as the leader of the Elohim group was foreordained to become the only begotten Son of God, and the first spiritually begotten Son that would come to possess
all the characteristics of His Father as this was and always has been the Plan of God. Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock;
for It is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom?
If you will notice that the above verses do say TODAY, I have begotten you. Does this not signify that He was not the Son of God until He was begotten?
It also says that God said
I WILL BE to him a Father,
HE SHALL BE to Me a Son. This also implies again that Jesus was not the Son of God until He was begotten of the Father.
Now pay close attention, As Jesus was a spirit of the Elohim group of spirits he did not have autonomous life within himself until after He was begotten of God twice. Once at His physical conception, and again when the Spirit descended upon Him in the form of a dove at Jordan. These two steps He even said were necessary for all men to go through in order to see the Kingdom
of God. 1) A physical birth, and 2) A spiritual birth.
Now as He was our example we must be able to follow Him to the same conclusion in that we who are also of that same Elohim group of spirits are born into this world in decaying
Adamic bodies of death. But the spirit that is within us is quickened by the same Spirit that quickened Jesus. This is when your conception as a new creature begins. As in the natural there is a
gestation period then come the birth (9 months later), there is no time limit on spiritual gestation, but we know that we will not come to the spiritual birth until the first resurrection, where
we shall be LIKE HIM for we shall see Him as He is. Again the FIRST BORN among MANY BRETHREN.
I know this is a bit deep but give it study and time and God will show you in His time. And yes it will take a long time to understand, line upon line etc...
Not to muddy the subject but most never consider why God only made Adam to begin with then made Eve of a rib of Adam later. All the other animals had mates why not Adam in the beginning?
The answer is that we understand the spiritual things by the natural, so then look at the picture spiritually.
Adam alone was the condition of God, He had all of the creation at his fingertips but there was nothing that satisfied him. Same can be said of God, all that He had created was like talking
to the microwave or couch.
He then looks all over the garden for a mate for Adam and nothing is found except from within Adam himself. Again the same with God, of all things that God had created there was nothing
in creation worthy to become His autonomous sons that would some day possess all His characteristics and abilities, but the Elohim group that came from within Him. The rib of God if you will.
God had a plan, and that plan included Jesus being foreordained before the foundation of the world, but not begotten of God until the proper time. That is when the Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she was impregnated to form the body of Jesus, who said: "Thou hast prepared a body for me" the spirit that was placed in that body was the Captain of the Elohim, who was
predestinated to become the Captain of our salvation.
John 1:11 "He came unto his own, and His own received Him not. " His own what? Brethren of the Elohim group.
I know I'm gonna get bashed by the members on this site for revealing this and there will be many a screamer that will never understand this truth, but the HIDDEN MANNA is reserved only for
the overcomer.
I hope that in some way this helps, but at the same time I also hope that you will be able to digest the manna.

And if you need more proof start studying and quit looking for answers from anyone other than the Holy Ghost. For if you have the Spirit you need not that a man teach you.
