But Moses said to God, "Who [am] I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?" So He said, "I will certainly be with you. And this [shall be] a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain." Exodus 3:11-12 NKJV

Moses had a heart for his Hebrew brothers and sisters languishing in Egypt while he hid out in Median. After all, he was forced to flee Egypt after he killed an Egyptian slave master for abusing a Hebrew slave.

But when God spoke from a burning bush and commanded Moses to return to Egypt and lead His people out of captivity, Moses answered with a long list of excuses.

Moses’ encounter with God at the burning bush teaches us an important truth about how we could respond when God calls us to a difficult—even humanly impossible—task, and it’s this: It’s not about our human skills or abilities, or even about how we perceive ourselves. Rather, it’s about knowing that our God promises to be with us and to give us everything we need to accomplish the task.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me and encourage me every day to do all You call me to do—especially when Your calling seems humanly impossible. You are my God, so I know it’s not about me but about whom I serve.

Two months ago I could hardly pray and my spirit was shut up within me.

Today, I place this here for those also that had/have difficulty.

I have been praying daily, and God is with me. He is my strength and I love Him. So are all of you. He has opened my understanding; without Him I am nothing and empty; He fills me with His Word and His Spirit, and redeems me from the grave; He is the joy I had wanted to share with others before I truly sought Him with all my heart. He is all in all.

I used to spend day after day muling over the best strategies to contribute to the health amd wellness of those in our societies, and now I know that Jesus Christ our Lord and God our Father are indeed and in deed the answer to precisely that! 100% and unfailing! Amazing.

Don't be afraid! Jesus and His Father are in our midst! He does hear our prayers, especially the prayers we pray for others!

Peace and grace and mercy be with you all in our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father.
