Encouraging Bible Verses

Hi Everyone,
I was hoping that everyone could write down a few really encouraging Bible verses, I have a Christian friend who broke up with her christian boyfriend, and she is really down about it. I'm not sure what she is thinking, if she is blaming God for her hurt or not, but I really want some verses that I can point her to, so she knows God loves her and wouldn't do anything to hurt her... i just don't know where to start....

Well. hey one REALLY GREAT one that i feel woudl apply in times liek this is this

Ecc, 3:1-8

just meaning that God will provide all these things for her...

but what about Him. do you knwo how he is takign it. i mean no offence if you dotn knwo him or not. but it woudl kinda seem that you dotn really think about what he is goign thru also. so yeah.. lol like no offence but you should be prayign for him also...

Yeah, i am praying for him as well, I know he is ok though, he is also one of my best friends, and he is the one that broke it off. He is ok, dealing with it well and going to the Bible for his comfort, but she is a fairly new Christian, and is at this time very confused as to why it happened, and angry, so just wanted to offer her some support!

This may not be comfortable for your friend, but take it from someone who is older and perhaps wiser; most young people go through a number of boyfriend-girlfriend relationships before they find Mr. or Miss Right.

Do not depend on human relationships to make you feel like a complete person. That doesn't work. Only a tight, loving relationship with The Lord Jesus makes one truly complete.

The Bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything (including having a boyfriend), but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus>" (Phil 4: 6-7)
