Hypothetical question: If, after you die, God gives you the option of waiting until His Kingdom finally comes, or going back to earth to live again (so that you can 'perform' as a better Christian) what would you choose?

LOL What a funny question. Choice? I'd go home. Why would I want to stay here when I could be with HIM? In person.

well...of course I would want to go home and be with Jesus and my loved ones...but it would be interesting if you could come back already a Christian so you could help others to know Jesus and help save more souls to build up God's Kingdom more. other than that..you can find me at my home...in heaven..with Jesus!

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

This world is an opportunity to please God.
What can you do for him in heaven?
It doesn't say without praise or worship it says faith.
Faith is for those who can't see God not those who can.
God's creation went through a lot of trouble to get me here.
I dare say I would be disappointed by the fact that I complained through the whole thing.
I guess I would come back and start wherever I left off..now where did I put that old cross...ouch

One of my heartfelt prayers to God is how to destroy evil and the bad things of this world. What can I do to help. How can I help get rid of this evil, from the crime to the crooked governments.

So I would ask God, how can I help, you tell me as you are much smarter than I am.

Kit

I say the Father knows well, so if I may ask Him to decide for that.
As my life verse below... Im so 50-50 on this because CHRIST = GAIN.

If it were my choice...I know that i'd want to stay in heaven with God. However, should God find it in His will that He wants to send me back to this earth then His will be done. In all things it is His will before our own and always should be as such.

We all keep our eyes on the prize of eternal life with our Jesus...so logically noone would ever want to come to back to a world that is in such a state as it is now...my personal prefrence would be Heaven with Jesus my Lord and Savior, but like I said above it would have to be God's will that I return because that is the only way I would want to come back to earth.

Ineresting post....But....Do you really think there will be no need for faith in heaven?

Actually I do see possibilities for faith in heaven.I may have misinterpreted my own opinion.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Let me rephrase that:
We won't have to have faith that he is.
Thanks for the chance to clarify that.

LOL Many times I don't know what I'm talking about either.

When you think about it, God actually used faith when HE created the world. He spoke it into existence but HE had to have faith that HIS WORD would produce what He wanted.

and just where is this 'waiting' to happen?

Do I get to come back in my nice new neat spiritual body where I don't need doors or necessarily show up looking the same all the time? Or is it back to this old carcass I have been dragging around?

LOL Gary I strongly doubt that anyone would willingly come back to our beautiful Earth if they once get a glimpse of Heaven. Especially after meeting JESUS face to face. It wouldn't happen.
These are lovely sentiments though
