Has anyone here seen the new film "Evan Almighty?"
It is the sequel to the film "Bruce Almighty"

I have to say, I really liked some of the quotes and the ways God was represented in the first movie... because even though it seemed to mock God, the end actually represented him to be who he is. however, in the first movie, i didn't appreciate some of the language and references... but i guess it was still a secular movie so that is expected

EVAN ALMIGHTY had a G rating, so it had no such problems. I found it to be a really good film in all the ways that a film is good (quality, story, cinematography, humour, special effects, casting, etc etc) but also very promotional of God and christianity.

It has a similar approach as the first movie, picking the lead role as very anti-God, but does it so well. Morgan Freeman plays God, and many of his lines are full of biblical principles. it really paints a good picture of who God is for the rest of the world.

I really found this to be a great movie.

Any christian and non christian should see it, especially if you love a good laugh or love seeing the bible come to life in Hollywood.

It's up to us to promote these kind of films that are g rated and promote christianity, because the more we support them, the more hollywood will get the point and keep making more.

To sum the movie up in a sentence... I found it to be just a long sitcom. The story plays on a juvenile level so adults are asked to endure slapstick for the entirity of the film.

The biggest obstacle to going with the flow of "Evan Almighty" is that nobody in the story finds the appearance of several hundred animals remarkable. This may be because an overzealous special effects team, working long after the actors filmed their scenes, added a greater menagerie than the script implied.

Bruce Almighty, made a much better movie for its entertainment value instead of being based mostly on 'poop' jokes like the sequel did.

It marks an unfortunate low point in the history of recent American comedy. Sorry but there goes Steve Carell's perfect game. Remember, praise Jesus.

I saw this movie last night and I thought it was awesome!!! It was so funny and such good clean humor. It was bible based and definitely worth to add to the dvd collection.

A definite must see!
