A lot of us forget that Jesus commanded us to spread the Word of God to those around us. We must ask ourselves... when is the last time we tried to bring someone new to God's path?
My last time was 3 days ago. We need to remember that consistency is the key. So what if they say "no" the first time? How many times did you say no before coming to church??? What if that person gave up on you so easily? Would you be where you are today?
I've brought a lot of people to church and trust me, none of them actually said yes the first time. However, one thing that Jesus taught us was persistence. He didn't roll over and give up on the people when they started mocking Him. He didn't call it a day when they spit on Him.
So are we any better than Jesus?? Go out there with a spirit of boldness and take your community by storm! Who cares if you don't know that much about the Bible? You just need to say "Jesus loves you and if you look for Him with all your heart, you will find Him". Have them come to church and God will do the rest!
The Bible says for every person we bring to God's path, we get a jewel in our crown in heaven. I don't know about you, but I want a bling-bling crown!
God Bless
