Back in 2007 I had received the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and many wonderful and miraculous things happened at that time. God uses things in nature, and natural things that are seen in the world in order to describe these invisible spiritual truths. But the carnally minded man is unable to receive these spiritual truths because he does not have the Spirit of God to give him eyes to see and ears to hear all these invisible spiritual truths. This lack of understanding into the spiritual things of God is also a symptom of those who still have the mark of sin. So though I rejoiced in the Wisdom and understanding that God had given me into this mystery, I was grieved in my spirit that no man received this testimony.

And so I thought, what if the stain and blemish of sin were outwardly visible to the natural eye, and not an invisible spiritual mark and blemish that the carnally minded man cannot see? I thought perhaps, if after a man had sinned a outward physical mark, spot, or blemish would appear; perhaps then maybe he would think twice about repeating this sin? After all man is supposed to be ashamed of his sins, as sin is also symbolized in God’s Word as having ones nakedness exposed. But in these last days there seems to be little conscience of sin, but rather an embracing, and even a pride in sin.

Most of the world does not see the invisible inward spiritual blemish of sin, and how sin makes one ugly on the inside. And so not seeing the invisible spiritual blemish of sin, they also do not see the immediate effects of sin; and thus they see no need to stop sinning. But I thought, what if they could see with their own eyes the effects of sin on their own physical bodies; perhaps then they might think twice about sinning?

But the Lord answered my question in Revelation chapter 16, when God’s wrath is to be poured out on the earth. In verse 2 we see the first angel pours out his vial, and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worship his image. And in verse 11 we see those who had been afflicted with these sores blasphemed God, and they still did not repent of their evil deeds.

And so even though their sins would eventually result in an outward visible blemish which caused them much grief, even still they would not repent of their sins.

But the Lord answered my question in Revelation chapter 16, when God’s wrath is to be poured out on the earth. In verse 2 we see the first angel pours out his vial, and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worship his image. And in verse 11 we see those who had been afflicted with these sores blasphemed God, and they still did not repent of their evil deeds.

And so even though their sins would eventually result in an outward visible blemish which caused them much grief, even still they would not repent of their sins.

I believe that theory of this being about nuclear war to hold as much water as Ploughboys theory he constantly tries to float on Nero being the beast in the Revelation.

Which goes as far as to try to change the number of man and beast to 616 in order to try to force an carnal interpretation that is not based on the words of God. Even despite all the warnings God gave about changing His words.

There is no mention of a nuclear war in scripture, neither is there any mention about micro-chips being the mark of the beast. But yet the carnally minded man will believe it, because he only knows what he knows and sees in the natural world.

But concerning the beginning of Revelation chapter 16, we read it is about the pouring out of God’s wrath on those who have the mark of the beast, which is sin. This wrath is to be poured out on sinners, not the saints.

Look at the parallels in God pouring out His wrath and plagues in Egypt and to whom those plagues were determined to afflict.

We are told by Jesus that the wrath of God abides on those who do not believe. And we are told God’s saints are not to suffer God’s wrath, even though we see in Revelation 16:15 that God’s saints are still on earth during this period of God pouring out His wrath on sinners.

John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Romans 2:5
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

I am reminded, near the end of your post, of Job, and how his wife suggested he curse God and die.

If I read it right, are you suggesting that all the inward blemishes will one day manifest in outward sores?

I am saying that sin is like a inward spiritual blemish that the world cannot see. But we see in Revelation 16:2 all those who have the mark of the beast will also suffer an outward blemish when God’s wrath is poured out on them. But we see they still will not repent of their sins.

The connection of sin with physical health issues is nothing new. Just read all the health warnings God gave to the children of Israel in Deut. I always say the leading cause of death is sin, even though public health officials may not even recognize sin as a cause of death.

The story of Job is a different issue because Job did not receive his sores because of his own sins. Though God allowed Satan to afflict Job’s flesh, it was Satan who afflicted Job, not God.

Let us look at some of the parallels between God’s judgments and wrath in the Revelation and in the Exodus from Egypt. Keep in mind God called Pharaoh the great dragon in the waters, as Satan is shown as a red Dragon in the sea in the Revelation

Exodus 7

King James Version

7 And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
(Notice this is a sign of God and His Prophet, or Son Jesus Christ, this is also a sign of God’s 2 witnesses)
2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.
3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.(notice God mentions signs and wonders here)

One of the mysteries revealed to me was the mystery of the mark of the man/beast, which is the sin/sin nature in man;

If you really had a divine revelation, what should've been revealed to you is the Seal of God. Whatever the mark of the Beast is, it's Satan's counterfeit of the real thing. Only can you identify the fake when you know the original perfectly well.

I am going to spend some time explaining by scripture what the mark, name, and number of the man/beast truly is. It is important that one use scripture to confirm all these truths, as I will do in my following threads and posts. First let’s explore what the mark of the man/beast is by first...

There are 2 spiritual marks, or spots shown in scripture. Gods mark in the forehead is the seal of righteousness, for those who are sealed by Gods Holy Spirit.

But the wicked are marked by sin. Below the 2 spots are mentioned in
Deuteronomy 32:5
They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.”

Wickedness and righteousness are shown like being upon a person here in
Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

It is important to understand the difference between the 2 different marks. The mark of sin in the forehead, or the mark of Righteousness in the forehead.

I speak of 2 different natures and of 2 different mindsets. This depends on if you are yet in the flesh, or if you have been born again of the Spirit of God.

We are all firstborn of the flesh, and also have a sin nature working in us because of Adams original sin. Romans 5:12“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

This is how the serpent corrupted God’s image in Adam by corrupting the ways of man to follow after the serpent’s desire. Genesis 4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

This desire of the serpent is to serve the lusts of the flesh, and those who are of his spirit think like their father the Devil; or have the mind of the flesh (carnally minded) being earthly, sensual, and devilish.

But those who are of God the Fathers seed (womans seed) do mind the things of the Spirit of God, or do God’s will, or desire.

The 2 seeds of flesh and Spirit are first shown here. Genesis 3:14-15 “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” (“it” is the spirit of a lie)

This enmity between Gods Spirit (Spirit of Truth) and the spirit working in the world and also in the firstborn man who is flesh is shown here. Genesis 6:3 “And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”

But Jesus Christ came to destroy the body of sin and the works of the Devil. And to remove that enmity, or the spirit of the fleshy or carnal mind in man, and also give man a new Spirit and new mind in order to serve Gods will.

Because these 2 minds (flesh/ Spirit) are contrary to one another, just as the natural man has a mind of the flesh (carnally minded) and cannot understand the spiritual things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:14“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

The only way to resolve this issue of being carnally minded, and of that wicked seed and generation is to be born again and made a new man in Christ. Jesus said in John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

Now pay close attention to what Jesus says here in John 3:3 “ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

This means the man who is not born again of the Spirit will not see, perceive, or understand the many mysteries of the kingdom spoken of in the law and prophets. The reason being is the kingdom of God does not dwell in Him by way of the Holy Ghost.(Spirit of Truth)

Jesus said in Mark 4:11 “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:”

This is why the world, and even those Christians who are still yet carnal cannot see or hear the many mysteries spoken by the Spirit of God in the law and prophets. And these 2 seeds, and these 2 mind
sets, or ways of thinking strive against one another.

This is why those who are of the world, and of the flesh, hate those who are of the Spirit. Galatians 4:29 “But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.”

This persecution was first shown in the firstborn Cain killing Abel; notice Cain was of that Wicked seed in 1 John 3:12“Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.”

This is the wicked and adulterous generation Jesus was talking about in Matthew 16:4 and also in Matthew 12:45. And because they are of the serpents seed both John the Baptist and Jesus referred to them as a generation of vipers, and serpents in Matthew 23:33“Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” These are those who are yet in the flesh, and do the lusts of their father the devil, they are the seed of evil doers.

This whole wicked world is under this corrupt condition 1 John 5:19 “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”

And the only remedy for this condition is either destruction, or for a person to come to the cross of Christ and be born again by faith in God’s spiritual seed of promise, and be made a new creature in Christ by His Holy Spirit.

Then and only then will the covering vail of the flesh be removed from your mind, and your eyes will be anointed so that they can see the Kingdom of God that is within you.

The first nature working in mankind is sinful, is of the world, earthly, naturally minded, or carnally minded, and walks after the ways of the world. (lust of the eye, lust of the flesh, and pride of life)

John said in John 3:31 “..: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: ..” He speaks of the earth because that is all he knows naturally, like a natural brute beast.

The first man is natural as it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:45-48 “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.”

Our first man is carnally minded, but our new man in Christ is spiritually minded.
Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:7 “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

Jesus came to remove that enmity….

Ephesians 2:15 “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;”

We can better come to understand that the mark of the beast is inward and is spiritual (in the heart and mind) by comparing spiritual things with spiritual as this is how the Holy Spirit teaches us; as is also
written.

Notice the description below of the mark of the beast is described in the same manner as God's mark, or God's seal of the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Now compare the wording above to God's mark, or seal, which is of His Holy Spirit....

Descriptions of God's seal (or mark) by the Spirit.....

Ezekiel 9:4
And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Revelation 7:3
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Revelation 9:4
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:4
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Proof that God's seal (mark) and name written in the forehead is spiritual.....

2 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

So by comparing God's seal (mark) we should know and understand that the beasts mark is also spiritual, which is from the spirit of the god of this world; their father the Devil working in the hearts and minds (in the forehead) of the children of disobedience.

Before God pours out His wrath upon the world, He will seal His servants in their forehead. So what is being sealed, and how is it sealed?

The what is shown in many ways, and the first signs of it are shown in the sign of circumcision, which Paul said was the seal of the righteousness of the faith.

But it is also shown here in Exodus 13:9And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.”

And the sign of it is also shown here in Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.”

Notice God said this outward expression was to be for a sign, meaning it would signify the greater spiritual meaning to come in Christ.

But we see it is Gods words, even the law and testimony, that is being bound and sealed in the hearts and minds of Gods disciples as shown here in
Isaiah 8:16
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.”

God writing and sealing His words on the hearts and minds of His elect was also prophesied to come in the new covenant, shown here in

Jeremiah 31:31-34“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

It is also confirmed here in Hebrews 8:7-12 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

So now that we know it is the law and the testimony of God, or the words of God that are being written on the hearts and minds of Gods elect, how is it sealed?

We are given the answer here in
2 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Ephesians 1:13

Ephesians 4:30

So those who are chosen by God have His words written on their hearts and minds by way of Gods Spirit. They have the Fathers 2 heavenly witnesses dwelling in themselves, which is God’s Word and Spirit.

John said He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself”

This is the New Covenant God said He would make with His people, not written on stone or on paper, but God writing His words upon our hearts and minds by the Spirit of the Living God.

Fortunately, right now there’s still wiggle room, there’s still precious time left for us to repent and receive the Holy Spirit, even though we have a sin nature. That came from Adam, NOT Satan or the Beast.

In general I would agree however there may be a specific nuclear blast mentioned in some of these verses. What Does the Bible Say About Nuclear War?

I have developed some non conventional interpretations of scripture that not many will hear, but I do believe them to be compatible with scripture otherwise I wouldn't believe it.

God could make man’s nuclear weapons look like fire crackers when His wrath is poured out. We know by the words of God that the heavens shall be on fire and the elements of the earth shall melt with fervent heat.

God could perform this in a number of ways, as He does not need man’s nuclear weapons to perform this. We are also told by the words of God that “few men” shall be left after this cleansing by fire. So I would say the death toll is much larger than 2/3 of the population.

The mark of the beast is sin and is the sin nature in both man and beast.

By faith in Jesus Christ one can get victory over the mark of sin and the name, which is Death.
