In the past few weeks I have had my share of ups and downs just like anybody else. Recently I took time to see all the blessings and changes.
I have a list, probably not in order of when they occurred or when I noticed.
Firstly I have noticed that the fear I was experiencing has slowly but surely gone, I have become more bold and confident knowing that Jesus is always with me.
I have rheumatoid arthritis, and by God's grace I just seem to be managing things better and have joy and less pain.
I believe the Lord gave me wisdom regarding my parents, its not my job to save them, its not my battle, I trust God to take care of them.
My son lives opposite side of the states, he called me twice in one week!
This is worthy of a Praise report.
He sounded happier and hopeful, and even mentioned he was thinking about visiting our old church. Praise God! I trust and believe my son will be saved.
My husband has to get certified for something for his job and there is a deadline for it,. So far there has been several obstacles and glitches along the way and time is of the essence,. The paperwork that needed to be completed has now been signed and my hubby has the go ahead to attend the classes for the certification. Yet another blessing.
My vacuum exploded, literally!mg: The new vacuum I was hoping for, was too expensive, so I left it for a couple of weeks, and just used our old carpet sweeper, I went back to the store and the vacuum was on sale at a price we could afford!
The tail light on our car was out, and my husband knew it needed fixing, he drives late at night for work. But we didn't have money spare at the time. He came home one day and said that he drove over a big bump and the light came back on and is working again!!!!!
My parents live overseas, they don't have alot of money, they are getting old and my dad has a disability, and I am not able to help them. Recently they found out they qualified for some financial benefits, they have started receiving the money already and are able to have a helper come in once a week to help clean and help in the home.
I have a new friend I met a few months back, she has been a blessing and of encouragement to me. I thank God for her.
The list goes on and on, I am now in tears, because I see God in so many things.
Spirit Led Ed thanks for your poem, Bless you
"Let us not miss constant signals of Your love
Your Awesome Grace displayed"
I have been praying for my husband to become the spiritual leader in the home, to take more of an active role. I prayed to the Lord for my husband to watch the Passion movie with me. My husband watched it and cried as I cried. He went to his bedroom and got his bible which was under a pile of papers. He read scripture out aloud.
This God we serve is Awesome, He is Everywhere, Everyday in Everything.
He answers prayers, He is Faithful, He is Real.
"Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,
His love endures forever." Psalm 106:1
