evil spirit in me? Plz help

My name is Melanie and I'm 23 years old. I've been raised Catholic and have always believed in and loved Jesus but have strayed away the past few years in a deep addiction and with depression and anxiety. there's a point to this trust and bare with me, I feel that my dream may be an important factoe to this too. I often have very violent scary dreams but last night was very unsettling. The first dream I was in a dungeon type prison that felt like hell, for some reason it was my mother but it wasn't really her ? She was evil and trying to kill me. Woke up, went back to sleep and had another violent dream where me and hundreds of other people were lined up in a gymnasium type place and someone was going down the line of people bashing their heads in to kill them. For me, they used. Swinging axe. But anyway,that was last night. Today I was taking selfies and in three of them my eyes seemed huge from afar, as I zoomed in on all three pics, I noticed I had two iris' in each eye, mine, and one that was the exact same size as mine, but black. It looked to have a pupil and everything. In all three photos. It scared me and shookme up quite a bit. I don't know if I'm over thinking or not, but if I were able to upload photos you'd see why they scared me..please I'd love your input. Thank you so much. -melanie

Melanie, I have not seen the photos so I cannot say for sure you have demons. But from your description of the dreams you are certainly under demonic attacks.

You said you are raised a Catholic, do you then worship Mary, or the saints or pray to them or the angels? If yes, you need to stop that because that is idolatry. Repent of the sins in your life and seek deliverance only from Jesus Christ.

Sin in itself is a doorway to evil spirits so get yourself cleansed with the blood of the Lamb of God Jesus Christ as a priority first.

Hi Mel, I hate to be be a prophet of doom but I found your post quite distressing. You say that you have an addiction but you can't seem to bring yourself to even admit what the addiction is and there is nothing in there that tells me you want to to escape or overcome your addiction. I really and sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

Addiction is the surrender of your mind and body to Satan. He takes over and has full control of you, often to the exclusion of everybody and everything else. IMO you cannot have a meaningful relationship with God whilst under this addiction. I urge and beg and implore you to crack this addiction, it will not happen on its own and it will not simply just get better.

If you really want to get rid of this addiction then there are going to be groups and organisations near you that you must seek help from. It would help if you started going back to church, though I would suggest you find one that's quite big with a good level of pastoral support that you could call upon. Hopefully one where the minister, vicar, pastor could arrange for a member that lives near you to befriend and support you.

If you love Jesus and/or yourself you'll really deep down want to beat this addiction. If you reach out to God and seek His help by immersing yourself in almost constant prayer, asking God to get you through this that'll improve your chances greatly but at the end of the day it has to be something that you want, you must want to reclaim control of your life, and then if you want that help and relationship with God you can give Him control of your life by telling Him you regret all your sins (not just your addiction, all of them) and asking for Him to save you from the consequences of sin and promising to follow Him.

Mel, this might sound a bit weird but I do love you. I really really hope that we can become brother and sister in Jesus and both of us enjoy God's incredible love and care, quite literally, for ever!! God loves you to and He's calling you loud and clear:
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:27‭-‬30
And
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12

If you'll take on board this advice I promise you there'll be no doom, just a lovely bright future. It'll be hard but you'll have someone with you that's all powerful and in control.

Please Mel, have a really good long hard think about this, and then pray.

Dear Lord God, I do pray for dear Mel. I pray father God that through your Holy Spirit you'll give her the desire to want your deliverance from this addiction and of course from the terrible consequences of her other sins. I pray Lord for guidance, lead her towards you, with help from organisations and of course your church.

Idolatry, is the problem, leads to more idolatry. Many Christians do not understand it or know how dangerous it is and the different kinds. You cannot serve two Gods, the word “cannot “means you have not the ability. God will not let you serve Him and an idol. Fear not once you come to this knowledge “ Repent” cry out to Him in Jesus name. ABBA Father, fast and pray, the Spirit will make intercession for you. You need no one but this. Go to your Father, in heaven and Him only! He gave them permission to attack you, to drive you back to Him! The Spirit will show you, your idols. Trust no man or woman! This is serious, This path is narrow and tight. Go to your Father, Repent, He will keep Him at perfect peace who’s mind is stay on thee. And read your Bible, no formulas, or quick rich prescriptions. Cover your self in the Word of God. Start from the front of the book and march on to the end Revelation. This is like “Lord hide me under the shadow of your wings”. We all will be praying for you as the Spirit gives us guidance! “This is not “The Dark night of the Soul” in which some Christians go through. This is how you see it. And Separated yourself “come out from among them“ have no fellowship with them”. And He will be a Father unto you. I’m sure you understand everything I am saying. For you are one of the “Elect of God”.

As someone who had addictions and has fought hard to overcome and stay away from them this must be of utmost importance second only to seeking Gods help with the addiction. I myself have some issues with the Catholic faith it would not be my first choice by any means. Pray for God to help you overcome your addiction and to find a church blessed with Gods presence and message the right church is very important as your going to need help. Have no doubt when you pray that God cares and will answer your prayers. Listen to what he tells you. "If it don't agree with what the Bible says disregard it" because if you have a demon influencing or trying to influencing you...you need to be careful. Always use the Bible to test everything.
Genesis 15:6 And he had faith in the Lord, and it was put to his account as righteousness.

Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, If you are able! All things are possible to him who has faith.

Mark 11:23 Truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be put into the sea; and has no doubt in his heart, but has faith that what he says will come about, he will have his desire.

Mark 11:24 For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it.

Know this we are able to love because God loved us first. Trust and pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ and he will hear your prayers and he will answer them. And seek a good church to help you one who is truly doing the work of God.
I will pray for you I will ask others to pray for you but in the end you are the one who has to make the final choices whether you will commit your life to God and change the way you live and serve him in all things.
