( Below is a quote from an end times " Space Odessy " study by Harry Antonopoulos, a Maryland house church leader ).

Harry writes:

" According to all we have studied thus far, I can’t help it but believe that the only
thing which possesses the unique characteristic of being capapble to turn upside down
ands inside out the minds and hearts on mankind (...) is the deceptive and this time real
manifestation of the scenario we painted ealier in our study; an extraterrestrial
deception manifested by the demonic as the real thing;

In another writing he states : "Consider an“extraterrestrial being” to be allowed by God, Who until that time has been
restraining such a thing (2 Thess 2:7) to stand before humanity’s utter amazement an
bring the enemy’s version of the “good news” that humanity has finally come to
realize its true destiny, and this extraterrestrial being (this demon or fallen angel)
has all the power to prove it by all kinds of signs and wonders,.."

I believe the above is an example of leaders not being careful in their teaching (James 3), and speaking unhealthy speculations about the Antichrist. There is nothing in the passage of 2 Thess. or Mt. 24 etc. that suggests an appearance of an " extraterrestrial " being.

What do you think ?

Grace and Peace,

They called it " extraterrestrial " being I call it demon/ fallen angels. If we take the hollywood imagery aside we know the word stands for a being that is not from this earth.
Extraterrestrial life (from the Latin words: extra ["beyond", or "not of"] and‎ terrestris ["of or belonging to Earth"]) is defined as life that does not originate from Earth (wikipedia.org/wiki/Extraterrestrial_life).

These types of teaching or beliefs about evil aliens trying to take over the world is common, inside and outside the church. Within these circles they believe leaders, celebrities are Reptilian shapeshifters, you'll find videos on youtube with President clinton. mitt romney ,other politicians and celebrities shapeshifting between reptile and human. Not saying the pastor follows these beliefs but its very common. Those outside the church interest is in the Illuminati, skull and bones and the new world order. In the church its goes with their end time prophecies.

What is the truth in all this ? Well the bible says test all things. I trust the bible first.
Remove the hollywood imagery.

Ephesians 6:12

King James Version (KJV)

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When superstitious people become Christian, it is very easy for them to trip into doctrines of devils and bring that along into their faith system.

Just show them that they only place "antichrist" occurs in in the epistles of John, and specifically refers to people who never receive and confess Christ coming in their flesh. He will then see there is not an "end times individual" who is "antichrist", a common rumour amongst futurists.

If they are wheat, they'll see it :)
