Odd title I know. Most all of you have heard the eyes are a mirror to your soul. Most live there lives daily without taking note of anothers body language,as one who served in the Armed Forces,and as a Body guard to some people,I have found that how one carries themselves, can mean, the difference between feeling safe,and being safe.
Want to have some fun? look in the mirror sometime,and thinking in you mind you are looking at someone you do not trust. Really think, close your eyes picture someone you really would not trust,got it?? cool now open them and look into the mirror as you would looking upon this person! Notice how an eyebrow goes downward some?notice the eyes,if someone looked at you the way you are looking now,could you tell what they were thinking of you?? LOL You will now!
The point to this! 2 Chron 16:9 says in part; For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that he may STRONGLY support those whose heart is COMPLETLY HIS! 1 Sam 16:7 makes this even more clear to our eyes! "But the Lord said to Samuel or put your name in Samuels place,because the Lord was talking to you to! Do not look at his appearence or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him;for GOD sees NOT as man sees, for man looks at the what?? outward appearence,BUT!! the LORD looks at the heart!
The same heart that Jeremiah talked about in Jer 17:10 and Jeremiah took it a step further! verse 10 I the LORD search the heart,I test the mind,according to his ways,( or actions) according to the results of his deeds,( or works!!) Our body speaks much without ever using our mouth,but we have to look,we have to be intersted to know. I remember on a job interview,I knew,I had the job,because I looked at the man who was interviewing me,I watched his eyes,they express more then most ever look for,they would know if they looked! Eyes can smile,they get become afraid,and fearful,the can become excited by another with them.
We use our eyes daily, but do we really see with them daily? Or do we see only what we wish to? Eyes search the heart ,and from the mind,to the eye,to the heart.
This is how we should be looking,espically in another,for by doing this my Brother sister,we can see something else as well!! Ourselves! Just a thought for you, today.
